Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
Thanks everyone in advance! :)
kriistennicole Hopefully you will get an interview soon! When did you apply? I think I applied the beginning of August. And for which campus? I applied to Ft. Myers.
I applied late August, and for main campus, fort lauderdale :)
Hey nursingdreamer2010,
I just applied for the program so I haven't heard anything back yet.
I am still taking two of my classes- micro and chem...so I am kind of like :/ "yikes!"
I have seen a lot of other people on this site, and from previous years who were still taking pre-req's and seemed to do fine, so I think you will do great! It's just one class!
I joined the chat forum that Nova offered today and it was very helpful. For those of you still taking pre requisites, the advisor said we will not be getting interviews. She said that "IF" the nursing college decided to give us interviews, it would be based on the nursing pool (in other words, depending on how many people in the first tier got accepted). Good luck to everyone!
Thankyou so much stacixoxo43, your insight was very helpful. I scored about a 86% overall on the TEAS so hopefully I can do even better on the Kaplan.
wow an 86 is awesome...the TEAS was def harder for me so as long as you receive a similar kaplan test to the one they had us take, you will do great :) good luck :)

I thought that Kaplan exam was a bit hard, well maybe because we didn't really prepare for it, and the passages were so long and boring that towards the end I was supper sleepy -_-! Btw guys get some sleep now because once you start it's insane.. If your not so great with physio start now because that class is insanely tough, her tests specially!

omg yesss those passages were super long and boring...i guessed on a lot of them because they were boring and i knew it wasnt gonna count against us lol but yes like Laura said, get sleep now and spend as much time with your family and friends now because time will be limited in the program. def study your a&p book that u have from your pre reqs because im not so great with a&p and i find that im struggling in that class more than my classmates that have a good a&p foundation.
I just received an invite for an interview. I am taking A&PII/lab and statistics right now. I'm scheduled for the 23rd, but I'm trying to contact admissions to get a different date because I have two classes on this date. Anyone else get an interview? Any tips from those that have already had their interview.

By the way, I meant that my overall Pre-req GPA is a 3.65. Not the core science gpa. My science one is more like a 3.8
