I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.
If you are:
currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!
Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
I went to the interview today. And they said that if they put you on hold is because either you need to send your final transcripts or they want to compare you to other students that are on hold as well. They also said that they are not going to put any other students on hold unless they are missing transcripts. =\
People remember, it' a PERSON making a decision, it is not a computer. If the application before yours was awesome or if she has a "bad feeling" about it, then there could be a chance that u don't get accepted.
Please don't get discouraged with your career and your dreams. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. =}
Same foolishness...waiting and waiting and waiting. Now they told me they aren't making any more decisions until after their last interview which is on June 28th. Who knows anything anymore...things change weekly at Nova. For all I know i've already been rejected. Last time I didn't even get a letter informing me that I wasn't accepted. Who knows. I am in utter confusion as to what is going on. Holding on to a slim chance that maybe I will get in. Preparing for plan B.

Well I just un-I accepted my seat as I know some others are bc we got into different school. So hold on you may get a spot soon!!
