Hello everyone!

I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

If you are:

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!

Same foolishness...waiting and waiting and waiting. Now they told me they aren't making any more decisions until after their last interview which is on June 28th. Who knows anything anymore...things change weekly at Nova. For all I know i've already been rejected. Last time I didn't even get a letter informing me that I wasn't accepted. Who knows. I am in utter confusion as to what is going on. Holding on to a slim chance that maybe I will get in. Preparing for plan B.

Stay positive teontaylor!!! Your gonna get this thru! Just be ready for lots of paper work when you get accepted ahh! And also make sure you have $1000.00 for a deposit and seat acceptance! And apply for FAFSA because NOVA is pricey ahh lol. Oh well life is not free right, at least its an investment :) Best of Luck! Hope you get the answer soon! CONGRATS! Im sure your even happier lol. Why did you chose that school vs Nova...is that up north? Sorry im nosey lol...doesnt hurt to find out more information :)

Yea it's in Jacksonville. I have just heard amazing things about their program and the public tuition is a lot easier for me to swallow than the private tuition. However if I had not gotten into UNF I certainly would have stayed at NOVA. They have a great program.

If they said that it's probably because they are waiting for those who will decline their seat...

But you are right things change weekly... If I'm not mistaken.. When I went to interview the Dean said the following week would be the last one for interviews. She also said that people that got accepted would be contacted faster than those who were rejected(by mail), AND that she would only put on hold those applicants that need to send their updated transcripts. So make sure you sent all your transcripts... As for me, I'm going to start with plan b, c and D lol!!

I'm still waiting and they keep telling me they haven't made decisions yet...*****!!! Maybe they will tell me the truth in December.
