Hello everyone!

I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

If you are:

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!

Nice!! I hate to say if, but it doesn't surprise me that it happened. Sometimes I wonder how schools function when they are so unorganized. It happens at every school. Glad to hear you got good news :)

Congrats Future RN! You see i knew it lol life is crazy sometimes, but you did good in following up. But WOW NOVA has been doing interviews for 2 months. I wonder why they are still interviewing? Thats soo weird. Yeah it happens in all schools FIU and Dade are some of the unorganized schools and make you wait 10 hours on hold!!! Well good luck and keep us all posted :nurse:

This thursday makes 1 Month since my interview. I called and they said no decision has been made. They said no I'm not on hold, just no decision has been made. Funny part is when I was in the interview she told us it would take 1 week to 2 weeks to hear back. She also said she would actually know the decision within two days unless you get put on hold. smh. This is some stressful stuff. I don't know what to think....4 weeks and still nothing!!!!! I got straight A's on my sciences I figured this would be a fairly easy decision for them. This is like American Idol just before they announce who the winner is....That little pause before they say the name...The Winner Is.....Tune In 4 Weeks from now or more.

What is the difference with being on hold or not? I'm so lost bcuZ THEY told me I was on hold....

I applied for Nova fall term 2012. I received a email in April, stating that if I meet all the requirements I will get an iterview. After not hearing from Nova I started to lose hope. Today June 6,2012 I receive a call from nova stating that I have an interview for tomorrow(june 7). When I called the young lady back she stated that I should receive an email to register for the interview. I checked my email and there was no email there. I called back again and was told that alot of student was calling nova about not receive their email for registeration for the interview, and that nova will be sending out a second set of emails within an hour. She also stated that if I didnot receive the email she would personal send it to me. I am excited and nervous at the same time. CAN ANYONE THAT WENT THROUGH THE INTERVIEW PROCESS SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE? THANK YOU.

yjly29 Same thing happened to me!!

OMG, I had no hope whatsoever and today I received their call for TOMORROW!! how crazy is that?!!! I still haven't received an email either so she told me to email her back @ 3 and she would do the registration for me. Wow I'm so nervous specially since I read here that they ask some really weird questions!! I just hope I don't go blank. :uhoh3:

BTW at what time are you going? I said 11...let's see if there is a spot available.
