I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
I Got an email from ****** saying they wanted to invite me for an interview but that something on my file or whatever said I didn't want to be contacted through email, phone or for any reason. Then she asked if I was still interested, of course I told her I am still Very Much interested. I don't know how that happened or when I could have even put that information. I couldn't find where on Webstar those questions are at to even change it. Hopefully she invites me for the interview once she gets my email in the morning. Congrats Future ARNP
Lol I've been playing the waiting game since last November when I submitted my first application. I'm a pro at it now haha. Don't give up, when it's meant to be it will be. And I really hope it's meant to be the fall for me because I dot know how much longer I can wait or how many more rejection letters I can take.
has anyone thought about where they are living (if you are moving closer to campus). I live in Boca and I'm not to fond of the drive everyday....anyone know any good apartments that aren't crazy priced? I know I'm getting a little ahead of the game, but i figure it's better to be prepared lol
Has anyone heard anything yet?! The waiting game is a little frustrating! I would like to apply for the scholarship provided by HRSA but the deadline is May 8th and I doubt any of us would find out if we are accepted or not by then. It's kin of ridiculous if we have to wait until June to find out... It's been a week after my interview already and I'm sending in my final transcript that shows my last pre req on Monday... So they BETTER
this gives me hope because i have a 3.25 GPA i suck horribly at chemistry so i ended up getting a C in chemII and it killed my gpa. im hoping they take everything into consideration because i have a lot of experience- ive been volunteering in hospitals since i was a junior in highschool, ive shadowed many doctors, and ive volunteered internationally. if i dont get accepted anywhere for fall then im going to apply for spring and hopefully i'll get in somewhere then
I think it depends on which campus you apply too... I know plenty of people who applied to the Ft.myers campus who have had low GPAs have not had their pre reqs finished and still got accepted due to having hospital experience. Good luckkkk
Hey ! I work at southmiami hospital labor & delivery and i have all the requirements my gpa isnt so high 3.2 but im so anxious and frustarted NOva is like my dream but i havent gotten an interview yet , I hear that people got rejection letters already ? I dont know what to think anymore
