  1. I am also thinking of chamberlain miramar. As for the schedule it seems to b awesome land reasonable. I met with a advisor on Tuesday and I'm ganna start in jan. my only thing is that they are not sacs accredited.... Which I'm currently making sure that, that won't mess me up for my arnp degree at nova. Classes start the end of oct. and jan 9th I'm finishing up more core classes that are completely transferable from keiser like micro and Chem with lab, so I will only have 2 years instead of the full 3.
  2. Sooooo happy u got in I now have a 3.01 and still have still have 4 more classes to bust my butt in to try to get that gpa up. U had a 3.2!!! And got in I'm soooooooooo happy!! U make the unbelievable believable!! I thank you for sharing ur info on this site, which made my stress levels go down a bit. I will start volunteering and Definately hope to meet u and be in ur baby class of spring (jan)
  3. Omg!! Sweetpricy Congrats!!!!!? I am super happy for you!!! You sooooooooo deserved to get in and you give me the faith that I too can get in for the fall I am going to start volunteering as well. I may not get to the 700 like you but maybe by August I could have enough. I hope you stay strong and do super well in your core classes for the program
  4. Hey samiam, did u apply to south university its in west palm. They have a bsn program as well. Plus I meet the most amazing bsn at boca community hospital(he started the most impossible IV on my son) and told me he graduated from there. It's just another option, I mean there bsn program is 19 months!!! And there is no craziness to get in like Nova. Though I do still want to get to Nova even if it's 8 months longer. U should check them out.
  5. Sam u will get in I know that the main campus is usually the last campus to get out there acceptance emails because they have the highest apply-rate. Have faith u will make it
  6. Wow!!!! It looks like most of u guys were accepted!!!! Congrats!!!?!!! I hope it goes like this for my time around in fall!! Hey Zuly: what was ur gpa when u applied?!?!
  7. I do not blame them if anything I could blame it would be myself. But u should get in Sam it's now time for the waiting game
  8. Was there a panel of nursing teachers at the interview?
  9. Congrats on the interview!!! ? But they always say that 3.0-3.5 is a solid gpa but dnt accept a lot of people with those gpa's it's mainly the ones with the super high 3.5 and above overachievers that get in. Its soooo floppy floppy.
  10. Teontaylor: I simply dnt understand there acceptance ratios. There are people in the program who got in wit 3.2's and had all A's in the sciences. And u have a good gpa with all A's in the sciences and they have turned u down once before.… just rediculous. Definitely agree they should higher more teachers.
  11. Alexz: well then if u have a 3.1 and get in that will give me more hope cuz I am in the same boat with a lower gpa. I wish u tons on luck on ur interview today?
  12. Someone please post they got accepted for fall I'm desperately wanting to figure what are my chances depending on all who get into the program.
  13. Samiam: I can believe that you have not been accepted with those titles where does that leave hope for people like me with 2.9 overall gpa's and is still working on science prereq's to raise the overall to a max of 3.3 (if straight A's in micro, A&p 1 and 2 and statistics). I kno I will be done at the end of summer aug. 18th. in time to apply for September this year! OMG you seem more than overqualified and 5schools said NO?!! Did they give a specific reason ? I'm sooooooo worried for myself now?
  14. I'm in the same boat a low gpa of 2.9 and I live in south Florida and my choices are limited for schools cuz I have my son and moving around seems quite unlikely. What schools are you thinking of south florida, or north. Cuz I know down here we have nova, Barry, and south university for entry level bsn. But nova seems to be the best yet the hardest to get in because all I see is students struggling to get in with 3.5-3.7 gpa's.
