I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
Has anyone heard anything yet?! The waiting game is a little frustrating! I would like to apply for the scholarship provided by HRSA but the deadline is May 8th and I doubt any of us would find out if we are accepted or not by then. It's kin of ridiculous if we have to wait until June to find out... It's been a week after my interview already and I'm sending in my final transcript that shows my last pre req on Monday... So they BETTER

They informed me that if you were missing a final transcript or grade for a pre-req then you wouldn't hear anything until after they receive it. However the good news is that you would have received a rejection letter by now if they didn't like what they saw so far. At least that's how it was explained to me. So good luck!! Hopefully we both will have good news next week.
Hey ! I work at southmiami hospital labor & delivery and i have all the requirements my gpa isnt so high 3.2 but im so anxious and frustarted NOva is like my dream but i havent gotten an interview yet , I hear that people got rejection letters already ? I dont know what to think anymore
Until you hear a know than think positive!!! Some have received rejection letters, so if you haven't then keep your head up!!! I was told they are interviewing until the middle of June. Keep us posted!!
Thanks so muchh!!! Im trying hard to keep my head up ! I want the baptist scholar so bad my job and manager are all waiting for me to get accepeted lol how frustrating !! If not i will not give up and apply for spring
The scholarship would be nice. We get info on that if we're accepted correct? It's not something we have to apply for beforehand?? Glad to know you're not givin up. I got rejected from all the schools I applies to over the summer but I'm still truckin!! We'll all get in somewhere at some point. Hopefully soon!

I JUST GOT AN ACCEPTANCE EMAIL THIS MORNING!!! omg I am so happy, I haven't been able to breathe for months!!!! according to the email, I should be receiving my acceptance package within a few weeks!!!! I've been crying for like 10 minutes lol

Aww yay congrats!! What campus?? I don't think It's a mass acceptance email. I think they are sending it out individually so no one get discouraged!! But that's great news congrats again!!
Thank you :) my acceptance is for the Kendall campus! I had my interview on April 19th and I had one pre-req pending (sociology) but i finished the class about 2 weeks ago. On April 28th, I officially graduated from Miami dade college with my AA in pre-nursing and requested my transcripts to be sent out immediately after that. I'm so excited! I can't believe this is real!
