Has anyone been accepted to the Ft. Myers campus yet? Just finished my second semester and have some tips for you guys plus selling books that I no longer need! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted so far!

YAYYYY Congrats! I also got accepted to the Ft. Myers campus. There are a couple of other people that I know of that have been accepted. If you have a FB, you can look me up w the email [email protected] . Samiam made a group page for our Nursing class and there is plenty of helpful info on there.

@ Juli3 .... If you dont mind me asking .... besides the books, uniforms and white shoes .... can you give us an idea of what other supplies we might need for our first semester and anything extra you recommend ?! Will we be needing a watch ? I read on some other forums that we will be. Thanks so much for helping us out

OK, So as I was reading through other posts... Most of the students had received their packages in July... do we realllly have to wait until then ?!?!?!

Just double checking... Is this the one you guys used http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0077350065 I searched a book list online and one of the book lists had this book as the main book for the other campuses but a different one for Ft. Myers.

Also, for the instate tuition I got an email with the paper work and there is a affidavit, can we get that notarized at a bank?! Or does it have to be somewhere else ?!

Hey there! Yeah I just wanted to get the books out of the way so by orientation date the only thing I have to worry about is the uniform lol btw I don't want to wait until orientation for the scrubs ... On a previous thread I found a link where we can purchase our lab coats but I didn't see anything about our scrubs.

Oh I didn't even see that. But I will look into it and I will also rent the advanced anatomy book!!! Yeah the littmann cardio 3 is on sale for 65 instead of 95 ... So that's why I think I should purchase it ahead of time I mean the 2nd semester will. E here in no time lol thanks for the info :)

For those who have been accepted... Have you guys heard anything about our book list ?! When do we receive it or can we get it early ( I have nothing to do this summer so might as well start on my reading lol ) and.... Do you think we'll need a stethoscope this semester?! The Littmann ones are on sale on Allheart.com so I think I might get one just because they're cheaper then usual! Ahhhh it's not even close to August yet and I already want to be prepared lol

Does anyone know if we're supposed to be CPR certified before the program?! I already am but I think I need to renew it pretty soon. So just wondering :/
