I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!
Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
I really hope this means good news for you. I will just tell you though that I had similar emails for other school over the summer that went out to all the applicants. As long as you met the minimum requirement. It just one step they do before final decisions I guess to save them work later on? I don't know for sure. Keep thinking positive and I'm sure everything will work out!

Lol I hope so too ... I kept reading the line that said "this does not mean you are accepted to NSU" so I wouldn't have my hopes up too high lol ... O well ... Trying to wait patiently :)

Well just keep in mind that even though it says "this does not mean you are accepted"....... It doesn't say "you haven't been accepted" .... I have high hopes and my fingers crossed for you!!!
you always get this email when you apply to nova. this is my term 3 time applying i wanted to become a doctor and i applied to te college of asteopathic medicine and i didnt get accepted i had a 3.8 GPA straight from highschool but i needed a 29 raw score on the act and i scored below that. second time i applied as pre nursing i recieved the webstar email and i got accepted but didnt attend i think the webstar is mainly for financial aid purpose like if you want to start applying for FA while waiting! good luck to you all i believe all of us on here will get in. i knew someone that got in a 3.4 and theres two girls that are in the program that i knew from chemistry and microbiology and they barely passed and i was shocked when they got in because i used to always study and help them. i think the sad part is the interview not all of us know the right things to say during an interview. stop worrying have faith and pray. any christians on here

I'm applying to the main campus and I received and e-mail this week to sing up for the interview which is going to be on the 3rd. Hopefully the group aspect of the interview is not too bad since i'm not the best public speak. good luck to everyone!
Any chance you'll tell us what your GPA is so we can make start to make an educated guess on what GPA's are getting interviews? I mean I have All A's on science courses a few B's on other courses and I am utterly confused as to why I haven't received an interview. I have a 3.58 overall GPA and my science courses are all A's. I don't know why some are scared to post their GPA's It's not up to us to decide but we can probably help with some of the stress if we know what GPA's are getting to that next level. Anyhow, good luck everybody.
I don't know if I posted my stats (I can't keep up with all the school forums I'm on lol)....but I got my email last week for main campus....I have a 3.5 undergrad gpa, 3.7 graduate gpa, and a 3.6 pre-req gpa....hopes this helps and don't give up yet! They said they were sending emails over the course of several weeks!
Hey guys I also received an email last week for an interview at the Main Campus and will be attending it this Thursday! I also received that webster email about a month ago to check on your financial aid but my nova email didn't seem to work either.
