Hello everyone!
I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.
If you are:
currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!
Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!

im getting quite anxious guys, i know an email for an interview will come but im nervous because i just got denied from 2 nursing programs. one of them told me my application was "good" however the avg accepted student for fall 2012 has a mother freaking 3.9 GPA and to "boost up" my GPA i should retake ChemI ChemII and AnatomyI (which i got B's in) i looked at the letter with a O.o face and shredded it.they must be crazy lol

What were you trying to get into?.... Harvard ???? lol
It's sooooooo incredibly competitive. I wish they would just up the entrance criteria do we would know not to waste our time or money applying. Saying a 2.9 is the required gpa is great an give a lot of people hope.... But let's be real, a 3.5 barely makes the cut these days. It's so upsetting. I've always been good at school an I've gotten in to almost everywhere I applied for my bachelors and masters....5 rejection letters over the summer really sucked.
Good luck to all of you interviewing and for those still waiting for an email don't give up yet!!

i know! uggh thats so annoying, the school i got rejected from said in order to apply you have to at least have a 2.8 gpa, my gpa is much higher than that but still how can you put 2.8 as the minimum gpa and then send me a letter saying they pretty much only accepted students with 4.0's thats just all types of wrong lol and on top of that they want me to retake all those science classes?those people can kiss my........toe lol

No Way, Are You Kidding Me. Are We Applying For A Triple Doctorate In Neurosurgery School or a Bachelors in Nursing. It seems it would be easier to go to Medical School.
