I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!
Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
Oh yes, I'm far beyond my pre-reqs lol. I actually have a bachelors and masters degree. My undergrad gpa was around a 3.5 and my graduate gpa a 3.7......
With that being said, I applied to 5 schools for summer accelerated programs and was not accepted anywhere. My best advice is to not worry what everyone else has. I know plenty of students with lower gpas and test scores then me and they got in. Remember that there are far more applicants than spots available and if for any reason you aren't accepted it doesn't mean you aren't good enough!
I know this is what I want to do so if I have I apply 50 times then so be it. Best of luck to you all, I hope to see you in the fall!
I am really getting nervous now, because I still haven't received an email for an Interview for the main campus...
From the looks of things it seems as if they are just randomly sending out interviews based on available time slots. When I got my email today I was super surprised. When I went to register for my interview time I was shocked to see spots still open for this Thursday. Don't be nervous, try and be patient and it will come. I know it's easier Sao then done, trust me, I've been freaking out for the last 9 months sending applications everywhere
