Ok so I took the California Nclex-RN Tuesday and im still freaking out. I got all 265 questions and I felt like I didn't know a thing on the test. My first question was asking about the normal values of a reticulocyte!! I had not even heard of that before the exam. I still feel really defeated and praying to God I somehow passed. I tried the pearson vue trick and at first it said something about something being on hold and I tried again this morning and it gave me the error message with the red triangle and said I had recently scheduled the exam so I couldn't pay again. Is this the good pop up I've been hearing about? I hope it is because I don't know if I could take sitting for that exam again. I've heard the CA BON is notoriously slow at posting licenses and my anxiety it through the roof right now so can someone please tell me if I more than likely passed?

No, nobody can tell you that. The number of questions taken is not an indicator of anything. You're just going to have to suck it up and wait for the results to post. Like most people. Hang in there.

Careful about your user name then if you don't know if you're an rn yet or not!!
BSN is a degree, not a license or professional designation. Once you earn it, you can always have it even if you never take NCLEX or decide later to relinquish your license and go work in an aquarium (or your university decides to rescind it for some heinous crime).
It was the "nurse" part of the user name I was speaking if. I'm quite aware of how the holding of a degree works, thank you!

I'm confused on how BSN came out of a statement that spoke about a user name.
I assumed you were talking about "darkknightnurse".
You didn't say this to the OP, whose moniker "DarkNightNurse, BSN" didn't say anything about "RN"?
Ah, you meant the "nurse" part, as in, "It's inappropriate or illegal to call yourself a nurse if you don't have a license to be one." Gotcha. My error. We get so many posters with "RN" in their usernames who are still in school, and my old brain slipped a cog and went directly there.
Um excuse me, but do you know if im a nurse or not? I asked if I was unsure if I passed nclex RN. I am a LVN so actually I am a nurse so be careful with rushing to assumptions, thank you!

OP, loads of people pass at 265, I did! I also walked out of there thinking that I got all the questions wrong! No one can tell you if you passed, and Cali is slow, but they update their website more quickly than they send results, so check regularly and you may see your license up there sooner than you think!
I PASSED!! officially a RN
