What's the difference between a man having kids at 35 and a woman? I know there's a cut off point for a woman where it will be harder on having children because of menopause and things alike but what about a guy? Eventually our sperm production decreases no?
I'm asking because from the looks of it, I don't want children until my mid 30s at least (I am 23 now). I just have a lot of goals I want to achieve. Becoming a Nurse is one of them. After that, I want to start saving up for business opportunities (owning rental properties/homes and other things that I will leave out but giving you an example).
RIght now I'm working on my ADN, hoping to start the program in the upcoming Spring semester and finish by the end of 2017 or mid 2018 the latest. Then immediately afterwards work on my BSN part-time, while working as a Nurse at the hospital I'm already working in as a Ward Clerk.
EDIT: I should probably just google this
I can believe marriage stats vary from country to country, but while young people in Texas often do live together, I doubt there are many who are under the impression that only old people get married. My oldest D lives in North Carolina. She is 25 and has been going to a LOT of weddings lately of people roughly her age. So far, no marriage plans on her part, but it is not an obsolete institution among her peers.
What are people seeing in your states? Are young people forgoing marriage?
Where I live in the upper Midwest young people, young ladies in particular, seem to be in a terrible hurry to get married. Judging from all the wedding panning I see happening while at work I sort of suspect that the wedding itself is seen as a primary goal.

Who are these "young ladies" marrying?
Men who often seem to me to be not very good catches relative to the intelligent, educated, employed young nurses I am talking about. I am so often surprised that such great young ladies are settling (my perception) for.
So, you think they are getting married to have the wedding? What about the dopey guys?
That could very well be.
You should see NY weddings. Ridiculous.

I never understood the thought that the female should be held more responsible (and to a higher standard) than the male who mutually agreed on the decisions they've made together.
Oh my, opening a can of worms aren't we? Have kids whenever you want. You have tons of sperm, women have a limited amount of eggs that age. This is 2015 and there are women in their 50s having kids. This is not something to worry about at 23.
Hahahahahhahaa, "tons of sperm" // "can of worms"!
