Actually, Jaxia, either go up there and ask for it to be added, or it can be given when you go to orientation if you're accepted. (Depends on what it is that you left out.)

For those Fall '06 starters not at the SNA get-together....

You need your fundamentals book at your first skills lab & a pair of gloves from your skills pac. I think I'm going to have my books debound anyway. I definitely don't want to bring the whole fundamentals book to skills lab.

I met a couple of people that are also in the VA clinical....I think it's going to be a good clinical.

Well, I'm sure as long as you qualify gradewise, they won't deny you because of a CPR card, etc.

Hey Fun (and anyone else starting school on Monday), would you mind posting your schedule? Like when do you have class and clinicals? I'm trying to figure out what my schedule might look like so I can decide how I can work a job into it.

By Sept of 2008 we will have graduated, passed the NCLEX and all be asking the mods to add RN to our username.

I am SO glad that you were able to get everything together and get your packet turned in on time. I was getting kind of worried there for a min. I am glad that you, Spill, and I waited until the end to turn in our packets, that means we only have to wait 6 weeks to find out if we are accepted. Waiting 2-3 months would be so awful!

I saw you and someone else mentioned about having your books de-bound. Is there a place that you can take your books to have them de-bound or do you do it yourself?

I am glad you asked about this. I have been curious about this myself. I would like to work only weekends but have no idea if that is possible since I don't know what the schedule is like either.

Each clinical will have a different schedule.

For the first week, I have skills lab on Monday 8-1, then have to go to ECC until 4:30.

Wednesday is lecture from 9-2:30

Friday is skills lab 8-1:30.

Week two may be different, etc.

I'm not sure if my clinical is on Tuesdays or Thursdays and Fridays. (Ecampus shows RF, but I thought it was going to be Tuesdays.) ....So confusing!

It has now been nailed, glued, taped, cemented, etc in our brains....that they will own us for the next two years. I now believe it. :chuckle

I took my Math test today....made a 100! :balloons: ....Got a little certificate for passing the class. :D

I asked the instructor if our clinical instructor will give us our actual grade. She said that it was pass/fail, but I did make a hundred on it.

There was one problem I got confused on.....so I'm glad I got it correct. :) (Then, you always have to worry about stupid mistakes....but luckily I didn't make any.)

Books debound: I've read/heard that people do this at Office Depot, or places like that. I've been told it's cheap to do, so don't let them rip you off. :uhoh3:
