The math test is for the nursing math/conversions test. You have to memorize conversions & know how to do dosage calculations and then get tested on it. You can take the test several times, but if you don't pass it, your're out of the program. You can only miss two.

The class I'm taking Saturday, Kendra is taking tomorrow, and GTChick has already taken, is a review over calculations, etc, and then the test. I remember reading that you needed a scantron, but I guess that's not for the class test, but if you have to go to the testing center to take or retake the test after school starts.

I figured you could relate to me. We both are a little older (but we are NOT old!!!) and have wanted to do this for a very long time.

Are you getting anxious about Monday? You mentioned something about a math test and a scantron. I know you have finished Stats. What is the math test for?

Amyindallas: I got my packet in the mail, I even paid extra and sent it certified mail ( I think I"m a bit obsessive), I felt it was $5.63 well spent.

Well, it's official. I just got back from the 24 hour post office in Dallas. I dropped off my admission packet! :D

Yay Amy! That is so cool :) Congrats to you for being on the ball!

As for me, I'm trying to figure out how to get my transcript from TCC. I have to go to downtown Fort Worth to pick it up, but my car window messed up the other day, and it won't roll up. I don't feel good about driving my car and parking it in downtown Fort Worth with the window down, especially since it might rain! I have an appt tomorrow to have it looked at. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it doesn't rain tomorrow! (or, that it at least waits until AFTER I have dropped my car off :D)

Don't feel obsessive -- I plan to drop mine off so I can see with my own two eyes that it made it there :D Good luck to you, and I hope that we all make it to the orientation!
