If I didn't say this before, there is a chart on either ch 27 or 28 that tells the chapters throughout the Iggy book.
I'm going to be up at ECC tomorrow for a little bit. We have orientation at UTSW on monday (daytime), clincal tuesday (2-10p), and up at NLC wednesday. I would love to meet you somewhere! I'll also be at Brookhaven Saturday...lol. I'm just going to hit all the campuses. I live in Allen. Let me know when you'll be around and when it's convenient for you and I'll try and work around it. Let me know how much $$$ to bring.
Thanks sooooo much!

How are you all doing? Have you all started clinicals?
I have orientation this week and today we have been at the med school main building. Guess who I have seen walking around in their pretty blue/black uniforms? Yes, new ECC 2nd semester students are out there. I can't wait to see them on the OB floors.
In case someone is interested, this is a short video of an ABC show about Parkland's ER:
I'm excited for you Katie!! Make sure you're extremely nice to those in a blue and black uniform.....especially from NLC.
I'm in the middle of my psych rotation now...haven't met Ms. Y, though. She is trying to get a date for us to meet her at UTSW to go over some stuff about Doctor's hospital.

I was one of those in the blue/black - haha. So is that a hint of sarcasm regarding the OB floor? I'm not too sure what to expect at Parkland. We won't be there until early March.
Wonder if DCCCD will cancel classes tomorrow?????? We are scheduled to have our Pedi seminar at ECC.
Guess I'll be up early checking the website.

I had my OB rotation at Parkland and I liked it a lot. You are not allowed to do a lot of skills in nursery, postpartum or L&D but you can observe a lot. And have fun. :redpinkhe
It's going pretty good, actually. I've enjoyed learning at Terrell. I'm glad I got to go there.
I still have to take time to see the cemetery, etc, and I hope to get a chance to see the pet therapy and music therapy classes.
Tuesday we will be having the ECT orientation, and viewing the ECT tx's on Wednesday.
Amazing....
