lol ,Gauge, excellent is doable, hmmmm
Fun, good point , .....healthy Nb. How are you going to do the evaluation on this?
We are still on MED/Surg, but I am on a Rehab ward , were my patients are gone off to PT or OT after 9:00 am and don't come back till lunch ,and then they go off again. So I can't do a lot of "care", much less evaluate anything. So I kind of struggle with the careplans, too.
Thanks Gauge. :)
Mysterious.....I'm sure my instructor won't like what I turned in, and I'm a little embarrassed by it. I just ran out of time with clinical being Thursday.
On the newborn, because she was a twin, both DX's are over breastfeeding, and basically the same.
OK...I did the DX "risk of infant ineffective feeding pattern", and the high risk of "risk of altered parenting".
I figure, and this is what I will tell her (or if she's reading..Hi Ms. E!!)
....The mom has to overcome the difficulties of breastfeeding twins. IF that is not accomplished correctly, altered parenting will occur d/t lack of bonding, etc. (Of course you could then go into nutrition DX's after that.) haha
Think I can B.S. my way through that one? I think it's relevant.
As for M/S. I'll be on on the oncology floor. I have a "Clinical Guide to Cancer Nursing" book. Maybe that will help some.
