Well, Wednesday I found out the big deal with Parkland. That's where JFK was taken when he was shot.

Mi'Shelle,

The Pharm gala is a causal affair well- at least it was for me. :rollI think comfortable clothing is my best advice because it's a bit long.

I won't be at the SNA table tomorrow and I don't know who will be? It was all 2nd semester people last semester who did the table and then they went to listen to the review. I recommend a tape recorder unless you can write like lightening (not lightening like what you experience right before you go into labor and you begin to breathe better and ingest better :D)

When is y'all's Pharm test? Ours is March 5th. Major Care plan is due on the 7th and I move on the 9th. AAAHHH!!! It makes life fun though!

My aunt was working there but she CALLED IN SICK THAT DAY! She always talks about how she wished she had gone in still to this day! :roll

LOL CRNA...yes it is.

My plastic/reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Salyer, was just an intern then. He was at the President's knee. ha

(Dr. Salyer, who just retired from his regular practice this past December, is the Dr. who did the Egyptian twins, and is apparently going to separate another set of twins.)

Thanks, Allison. Our 1st pharm test is February 26th, the careplan is due March 26th. So for those who pass the first time, they have a month to work on the major careplan. Of course, on the 2/15 I shadow PP, then no school on the 22th, then I have to do my major careplan on 2/28.

You know what I'll be working on during Spring Break!

Fun,

how you managing, I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed. Our first test next week then I have I/M checkoff following week and SIM baby. Then Pharmtest, then our major careplan, virtual clinicals and test 2 all in the same week after spring break. I haven't even started on the virtual clinicals and I heard those are very lengthy. My daughter is allready complaining that I never have time to do anything anymore. I also hoped I could aply for an externship, but I don't have my resume together or anything . So I don't know if I have time to do my research on that. Oh well, we will get through this right....? :chair:

Hang in there. :icon_hug: I haven't been in my kitchen for 3 days, my bedroom is a mess and I have to wash my cloths so I can wear something today. Next 3 weeks we have our psych. lectures online so that helps a little. I can finish all chores hopefully. :zzzzz

OMG! I may go nuts.

I'm not sure which is more important...study for the lecture exam, or have a newborn careplan to turn in Monday. :( Ms. E may not like my mess I turn in, but I have got to study.

Pharm review went well today. If the questions only pertained to what they went over, I'd be fine. Of course, it couldn't be that easy.

I know what you mean, I finished my careplan yesterday and I'm panicking about this test too. I talked to someone from THR today, they said out of 43 students 40 failed this first test. Soooooooo scary.

OK, now I'm going to work on my careplan, and then study some more.

I just had to get that out of my system. :chuckle

Newborn care plan is complete!

I'd rather do 6 DX on a sick person! OMG....it's not that easy to come up with a good careplan for an infant less than 24 hours old with nothing wrong with her.

I've never seen her mom's actions with her and her sister, so it's a little hard to judge high risk for altered parenting, or ineffective breastfeeding.....but that's what I went with d/t my pt. being a twin. :chuckle

OK......need to jump in the shower. I have to be somewhere at 1 PM, then I have to come back home and hit the books again. ugggggh!
