Hey guys. I have a question about the syllabus. I looked through it yesterday and didn't see why it might be useful. Did anyone find it useful for 1st semester?? It's $50 and all it had was very basic objectives and some eval sheets. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
Kathy
I did use the syllabus for the 1st test because I didn't know what to expect. I made a 98 on that test. From that point on, I worked directly from the blueprint. In my opinion the blueprint allows you to focus more on test content. I heard that 1st semester was going to discontinue using a blueprint. If this is the case, I would recommend the syllabus just for some kind of focus. I know a few people that worked the syllabus only & some who did only the blueprint (most students). Other than the 1st test, I used the blueprint to guide my study & my lowest grade was a 92. I always buy the syllabus because I'm afriad I might need it, but I can say I did NOT even open 2nd semester syllabus (maybe I should because I ended up with an 89 - Boo hoo).
yes they did stop using blueprints , they are no more. As for the syllabus , you never know. Our clinical instructor had us copy the clinical objectives, and write on there what we accomplished on the floor pertaining to it, and turn the whole thing in for midterm evaluation and again at the end. Also I believe there was a form in there that we had to fill out and turn in, in lecture.
