Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!

Yeah, having to work holidays will be a bummer. And no Spring Break?!

What have I gotten myself into? :monkeydance:

Luckily my family is full of police officers, paramedics, and nurses so the actual holiday doesn't mean anything to us. Christmas on December 25th would make us feel like we were celebrating early! :lol2: So working holidays won't be a biggie for me which I'm sure my "team" would love!

And your'e the low man on the seniority totem pole when you start working so you can cross holidays off for a couple of years - enjoy them while your'e in school!

At my hospital, they just put up sign-up sheets and if you don't get what you want, someone usually switches with you or breaks the shift up. It's really not that bad... got New Year's day just like I wanted! :lol2:

I almost got a job at a hospital years ago as a transporter.

Their policy was Christmas = 2 holidays, Thanksgiving, NYE, etc = 1.

Everyone had to work 2 holidays. So, if you signed up to work Christmas Day, you didn't have to work any other holidays.

I just finished the last touches on my major care plan....30 pages, including front & back cover sheets. :chuckle

Now it's study time for test 5, which is at 0730 this coming Wednesday!!

My final is Monday, the 11th at 1100.

The nice thing is that sister works in a hospital, too, so she'll understand. This year and last year, we had Christmas a day late. Since my nephews are young, they don't realize what's going on :)

Mine was 33 pages first semester.... I had to narrow that down this semester! I think I had about 13-15 pages.

13-15 pages sound good to me! haha

Mine wouldn't have been that many pages, had my pt not had so many abnormal labs. ....Very sad.....End-Stage COPD, among other things. :(

Yes, I am taking classes this semester. I am taking Statistics and Developmental Psych. I don't know if I passed the Pharmacy tech test yet - it takes 30 days to get the results - 2 more weeks to go.

It was actually snowing here, for a brief moment :D Now it's just ice-rain.
