I'm going to be at the NLC campus!
See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
Yes, Sue McClellan is still in charge at Brookhaven. I've applied for Brookhaven summer '07, and all the nursing staff seems very nice, like they really want us to succeed. Sorry you are having a hard time with the staff over there.
Having attended both EC and NL, I think they are excellent schools. MY training was tops. When I graduated I said I would NEVER go back, but I know I would in a heartbeat.Still, I have to say the biggest obstacle is the hostile attitude of some of the staff. I understand they deal with angry students, but GOOD GRIEF! Every office you go to you have to be extra nice if you want to get anywhere. I am a strong person, but they even brought me nearly to tears once or twice!
Is Sue McClellan(sp?) still in charge over a Brookhaven?
ThanksI will be at ECC.
I really appreciate all the kind words from everyone -- it really helped me keep my spirits up! Ya'll are awesome!
Well, even though you won't be at NLC, it's cool you were called! You have the feeling of both worlds. I think that makes us appeciate it more!
I'm having a beer to celebrate for you! Don't bother. LOL!

That was an awesome email! It is so true! I didn't like 1st semester even half as much as I am loving 2nd semester and that's because I have found what I truly love which is Pediatrics. I am looking forward to the other semesters just because it's closer to graduation and I see the light somewhere in the faint distance at the end of the tunnel.
You should save that email for when I faulter in 3rd or 4th semester! Just copy and paste it and send it on over because I know it will kick my butt in gear! Thanks for posting that! I'm sure it will make a difference in that recipient's life.
