Hi,
I'm a new grad, just passed the NCLEX and am starting a job where they require white scrub tops.
Any recommendations for ones that aren't see-through?
Thanks

The best thing you can probably do is go to a local scrub store or other store that sells scrubs and try some different brands on. That way, you know firsthand which ones you prefer and which provide the best coverage.

With flesh-colored underwear, almost anything is OK.

Wear a tank top under your scrub top. I wear grey's anatomy.

I would wear a tank under them. That eliminates any issue. It is what I did during nursing school when we had to wear white tops.

I like the "Dove Brand" they are thick, sturdy and stain resistant while still managing to to be comfortable. It goes without saying that you should only wear white under garments with white scrubs.

I loved Dickies GenFlex - I also wore a white tank top underneath, but there were some days I'd just wear a sports bra underneath

The all-cotton ones tend to be less translucent than the poly-cotton blends, in my experience.

I would check the uniform code for your position and see if shirts are allowed under it (and if so, if there are stipulations). Maybe if you have opportunity, see what your co-workers wear.
I always preferred 3/4 length sleeve ,thin, fairly fitted long sleeve shirts under my scrub top. I'm fairly fluffy, but I would tuck in the long sleeve shirt (under my scrub shirt) and I think it looked professional - plus it provided adequate coverage. I still was very careful with my undergarment color selections though.
Several scrub manufacturer's make this type of shirts - with different necklines for different brands.

Wow that sucks! I hated wearing white scrubs in school. Anyway, you can try wearing a white tank too underneath. That's what I did, and it worked fine.

Hi! We wear white scrub tops. Cherokee brand. I am always cold in hospitals so I wear a long sleeve undershirt. And as others have suggested, a white non long sleeve undershirt if you dont get cold.
