Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi guys.
I sat the exam last November and failed (surprise suprise) I'm only in the UK for 2 years and have already been here for 6 months. I'm undecided if I'm going to keep trying for my registration because the NMC is so terrible and takes so long do by the time I get it I won't be able to nurse for long. For those that have passed the first exam how long has it taken for the assessment stage? And has anyone sat the OSCE yet?
Congrats on those that have passed í ½í¸€
Hi all, I took my CBT today (31/03/15) and Passed. I am so relieved. I have been following this thread since the 18/03/15 when i was informed by NMC to reapply under the new process. So I booked my test on the 19/03/15. I only used the Blueprint and I found it to be useful. But thanks to all those who shared their experiences and tips here, they really helped me a lot. Thanks a lot guys and good luck to those that will be taking their test soon...
hi everyone!to those who passed the cbt.. congrats!!!!
I am going to take it on the 23rd of April and I am quite apprehensive as i don't know how to study the blue print... can someone give ideas or pointers..thanks alot
The blueprint is really just one disorganized mess of very general ideas put together by people who think they're clever. Anyway, just try scan the whole adult nursing section (I think it goes up to 60+ pages) taking note of the ones marked with E* because it's widely believed they're where the critical questions are based on. On the last column, try to open as many of the links there and read them. The links get repeated and some are broken so once you encounter those just move on to the next one.
Don't hesitate to ask if you need more clarification, and best of luck on your exam. ^_^

Hi! I took the exam today and luckily passed. I think the Royal Marsden book really works. Goodluck to those who will be taking the exam soon!
