Anyone else having a technical glitch with their account? Mine has been affected with it for 2 weeks now and I've been calling them every now and then but they can't give any specific timeframe or day when the problem will be solved. The problem is, suddenly documents are not reflected in my account. I'm on the assessment phase when the problem happened.

I called NMC and I asked should I just reupload all my documents though they have a log that says they have my documents already. They told me it is okay as bumping documents won't hurt your application as they are just the same documents as before. I also asked if that would help my situation, they told me it "might" though without valid reason why. So I just reuploaded them though they have a copy. This really is confusing. I'm scared that it might set back my application a week or two

Anyone here experienced after logging-on to their account that all the uploaded document and couriered documents have gone missing? Ugh. The line "this document has been received" suddenly was nowhere to be found and all my uploads were gone. I called the NMC last friday and they said they will address this problem. Anyone else had this? Thanks.

Well, I've learned that the headed letter requires a dry seal from my hospital to authenticate it. However the HR dept refuses to authenticate it as they see no point in authenticating that a nurse is indeed "more senior than me" Sounds confusing? Yeah it does. :/ I tried reasoning out to them but they won't budge. They told me that they would just authenticate another employer reference form and not anything else. That's why I arrived to that decision. It sucks really.

Yeah man, I did. But the person on the other line doesn't sound that much sure of what I should do. :/ He keeps on saying: "I think" Our conversation even started by him saying: "Congratulations your assessment papers are all in" Ugh. Then when I told him my query he told me: "I think you just need to send a letter if indeed your referee is a senior nurse." Then he told me to wait in line for a while and he said again: "Yes I think that's what you should do." He doesn't sound very reassuring. That's why I have my doubts. sorry if you have read my other reply out of context, I didn't mean to diss you or anything. :) I'm just getting frustrated cause I am asking help from the NMC hotline and they themselves look as if they are not sure of what to do. Thanks a lot man. :)

Actually the email only says: We require additional information in order to continue processing your application. Please login to access the assessment feedback. Thank you. Yeah. That's that. :/ And when I logged-in, that's when I saw the message I just posted earlier. Man, I'm getting frustrated tbh. My papers were with them for a month and a half already and they just informed me about it last Thursday. Grrr.

That's how I understood the email too. I actually called them last friday but the guy I spoke with repeatedly said: "I think" he said that "I think you just need to send a letter if indeed your referee is a senior nurse." I was a little doubtful about that cause I assume that he can give me a more concrete answer than "I think". So I decided to post here in allnurses in order to see how people understand it and if chance allows, to have someone who had the same experience. I guess I'm going to just send a letter confirming that my referee is indeed a senior staff nurse then. Thanks. :) Gonna do it with crossfingers and high hopes haha. Sending documents is expensive. Grrr.

Beg to differ, actually there is an instruction saying that I can send a letter. It is actually ambiguous. :/ The first part of their message says: Your reference must be completed by a senior nurse/senior clinician who has supervised your practice. If the referee is a senior nurse/clinician they can confirm this on headed paper. So the way I understand it is that if my referee is indeed a senior nurse, she can confirm it via headed letter. However what made things a little bit off is the succeeding paragraph they included.

Hi everyone. NMC sent me an email last Thursday saying that I need to send an additional document/letter to confirm that my referee is indeed a senior nurse. I don't know why but her contact details are on the submitted employer reference form. They could just call her to be honest. :/ anyway, this is the message I received once I logged-in on my NMC account: Subject: Your reference must be completed by a senior nurse/senior clinician who has supervised your practice. If the referee is a senior nurse/clinician they can confirm this on headed paper. Message: Please download a new employment reference form one; this will need to be completed by a senior nurse, manager or clinician. Your previous form was completed by a staff nurse whom we cannot accept. I can't understand what they want me to do. Do I just need to submit a headed letter confirming that my referee is indeed a senior nurse or should I make another reference form? Thanks!

Anyone of you guys had their medical already? How long is it valid? I'm a bit sketchy about it as my agency is already lining me up for a medical next week. And knowing that the Assessment Phase will take almost about 3 mos, I'm afraid it will expire prior to me being granted a visa. Thanks guys!
