NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Did you take the exam at Pearson veu as well? Yeah I was kinda hoping for that to happen to me as well but alas, I think I will have to wait a bit longer, I'm kinda excited actually :S

@The_Explorer My sis took it at MISNet in Cebu. She got the results in less than 2 hours. Your status will also show when you log in to your PearsonVue account. I wish you all the best with your results.

also, @The_Explorer, since you also took the exam this morning, did you get any questions at all that were similar to Royal Marsden questions or anything from the blueprint? Because my sister got mostly technical questions which are not in the manual/blueprint.

Hey y'all!!!!

The passing rate for the NMC test must have gone up since the revision of the test. What are y'all studying and what's the word on the streets?

Oh, snap!!! Reading IS Fundamental!!!

Hey jabbajaws,

When are you going to the UK? I am so excited for you!!!🙌

Hello.

I was supposed to take the exam yesterday. I arrived at the test centre. they checked my passport, took a picture of me and ask me to sign about the rules and regulations of taking the exam. Suddenly, the test centre (server) went down. so they ask me to contact PearsonVue customer care Centre and quote an incident number which they provide. They are allowing me to rebook the exam but the next available appointment will be on April 21. The reason I book March 25 is if ever I failed my first attempt I will have time to wait for the 28 days period that they are allowing us to book our 2nd attempt. My worry is my Authorization to test is only valid until May 11. I rang NMC but they told me to try the first exam first then I will contact them back but there is no guarantee they will extend my ATT even if its not my fault the test centre (server) went down.

@shiobz

hi! I'd like to know what kind of "technical" questions was it? Is it like leadership and management?

I took the test at misnet makati and got the result in 6 hours.

I also had a lot of objective questions. But I focused more on the items, which I thought were critical questions. On my test, I found the blueprint helpful.

Regards everyone.

oh my... I took the test also last 25th, got lucky I have not encountered such problem.

Good day! I've been following this thread for a month, I took the CBT yesterday at MISNet and luckily passed. Anyone here is in the process of assessment or completing the requirements? I am linedup for interview on April with UCLH under Omanfil.

hello guys....took the cbt last march 18 and got the PASS result after 20-30 minutes.... just want to be honest... i actually didnt have enough time to study, especially the royals marsden...why? (work related) got the book by march 15 and didnt thought that its consisted of 950 pages.... all i did was... PRAY... PRAY... PRAY... and focused on the following tips....

1) always patient safety even of its against hospital protocols....

2) always patient safety first.... not our safety, not the doctors safety.... not the hospital interest but always patient safety first

3) drug calculation... basic

4) always read keyword in all given questions... like most appropriate (nursing care plan).... best thing to do(patient first... patient priority) .... first nursing action(nursing care plan)...

5)always... always... always... take your time to pick the right answer... no need to rush....

6) Pray... Pray... Pray....

7) study about copd/dehydration/infection/infection control/universal precaution/record keeping/clinical benchmark/code/standards/safety/nursing care plan/6 c's/ bedsores/waterlow.....

8) pray...pray..pray....

Goodluck and Godbless everyone....
