Hi everyone Just thought I would let you all know I spoke to the NMC yesterday and they said so far 3 people have sat the OSCE exam and all have passed. Not many people but at least people aren't failing first time like with the CBT when it was first introduced.

Hi guys. I sat the exam last November and failed (surprise suprise) I'm only in the UK for 2 years and have already been here for 6 months. I'm undecided if I'm going to keep trying for my registration because the NMC is so terrible and takes so long do by the time I get it I won't be able to nurse for long. For those that have passed the first exam how long has it taken for the assessment stage? And has anyone sat the OSCE yet? Congrats on those that have passed í ½í¸€

Hi I found the exact same issues as you. I wasn't going to resist as the questions were so ridiculous I felt even studying more wouldn't guarantee I would pass. I have heard from a nurse over in the UK that they have made the exam easier due to a very low pass rate however I can't find any information about whether this is true or not. Of course the NMC were no help when I tried to contact them about it! Such a frustrating process
