Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Agree with Kurokocchi's post
I think borrowing somebody else's forms is kind of risky because no one really knows if it's applicant-specific. If I'm not mistaken, when you print the forms from the online portal, they already have your name transcribed on them (which you'll only be able to do once you've passed the CBT).
While I'm not doubting anyone's capabilities to pass the CBT, it is good to take note of the previous poster's advice of just focusing on the exam for the mean time. I feel that it would be quite devastating (in the very unfortunate circumstances) if the applicant has given so much time on completing the required documents only to flunk the exam.
Please don't get this wrong my friend. Just a word of advice. God bless you on your exam!
can you provide your email?. ill send you some pointers
[email protected] thanks in advance, wilfred26!
i saw from a friend's file that the forms that will be sent by nmc after the cbt exam has barcodes in them. the barcodes are specific for a candidate or is it just a barcode for the forms? because im thinking of asking her for copies of such forms so i can process them now instead of waiting after the cbt exam. thanks.
I don't really agree on this one. You have to pass the CBT first before doing anything in the Assessment stage. I was informed that the forms were supposed to accomplished "after" the payments has been done. It has specific info "only" to the candidate.
If you have read the NMC booklet, it says, "All relevant forms required are available to download from our website once the the applicant reaches the assessment stage, but not before."
These forms will include dates of accomplishment.
You may confirm on the fees that you need to pay for the transcripts and the official seal of your hospital, etc.
So, if I were you, I would prepare for the CBT first then worry about the next stage later.
I need tips in UK CBT. Please Help me. what are the review materials that I need to read? Do I need to practice exam questions from saunders, hogan rn, nclex 4000? or Do I just need to read the nmc blueprint and royal book of mary mardsen? how much time do I need to prepare? thank you
I highly recommend the Royal Marsden...i have read the whole book during my review...i gave myself a month to prepare for the exam...and i paid the CBT exam a month before my target exam date so i wouldn't procastinate in reviewing...
After the royal marsden then go to the blueprint coz its a little bit complicated.
By the way, after each chapter of the royal marsden, there are practice questions, try to answer them, it would be a great help.
Take the CBT as soon as possible....so you can proceed with NMC processing...there have been a lot of changes in UK gov't lately...we don't really know what will happen
Goodluck

Hi,
It is best to include the 'Overseas Registration Department' because they also deal with applications coming from the UK and EU nationals. By putting that, they will immediately know that you are trained outside the EU and the UK. It'll be more specific.
Goodluck!

I don't know if the barcode is exclusive to the candidate, but as far as I know no one here has done that. I mentioned this before, but if you want you can process the prerequisite documents that accompany the NMC forms like your transcript, clinical experience, payment for the registration verification form of your registering body, etc., and maybe confirming with your hospital if they have a stamp/seal, and the appropriate titles of your desired referees. Leave the police clearance for last as NMC only considers it valid if it is less than 3 months old.
Although, I think a much better use of your time would be to prepare for the CBT if you haven't taken it yet, don't you?
