Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

sir what are the review materials did you use? and how long did you prepare for the exam?

Just read the blueprint. Everything is there. It is a long list and managed to read only until page 7. The code is very important. Read and understand it by heart. You better have a good foundation when it comes to legalities with charting, delegation, medication, computations, patient and public safety, infection control. They say the Royal Marsden is very helpful but I managed to read only until 1st chapter. And my ultimate advise would be...USE TEST TAKING SKILLS, as answers are very obvious...by the way, what agency are you from? Preparation for me is just 15days...I arrived at the test center at 9:12am...come early so as you will not be stuck in traffic.

The Code (while somewhat barebones), along with basic medication computation skills, is indeed all you need when it comes to critical questions. However, some people aren't quite versed with how to put it in application since it's a bit different from the setting they're used to. That's where the Royal Marsden manual, the blueprint, SCIE's Adult Safeguarding site, articles, etc. come into the picture. They portray examples and expound on the concepts and ideals that the Code has laid forth.

Hey there! I am not really sure about the deployment. I've asked IPAMS and they told me that OSCE will on the end of October - November. lol

I just finished my medicals and I think there were fellow CTNs as well yesterday.

I was informed not to resign yet since they told me that I should resign once the visa is available.

Not yet, I was informed that CTN would apply for my CoS this month. My nurse manager at CTN called me about my assignment.

hi guys. quick questions. what are the requirements when applying for your visa?

are there any requirements that i can finish in advance while waiting for my decision letter?

this is kind of important for me because of the IELTS issue that needs to be dealt with before november 5

Reading the Blueprint actually helped me. But taking the advise of the nurses posting tips and topics for the NMC in this forum is more helpful. I had no chance to read the royal marsden book since I don't know where and how to buy. I self-studied and read most of the links provided in the blueprint. I prepared for a month trying to read and scan sites on my vacant time while I'm still working at shifts (but most of the days i dont). I concentrated studying only a week before my exam. Most importantly, PRAY.

And by the way, what phone # should I put for PRC? Is is the one for the license verifications like nclex/cgfns? Will greatly appreciate your help.
