Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

nmc does not inform you if they have received your documents or not.. You will only know they have got it If it has already been uploaded on your portal and that's about 15 days after they have received it. Unfortunately, as what nmc emailed diana, they are having technical problems so it may take longer.

I rang up ACRO just now, I forwarded to you their reply to me. Oh it's confusing, so what did you uploaded to nmc, police certificate or subject access and nbi? You have your DL so that means whatever you uploaded were acceptable. Thanks

Someone from here asked nmc about it and they said to process subject access.. Besides, from the email you sent, it's the only one that can be processed personally. Cheaper but it takes time. In my case, i've uploaded nbi clearance.. And i also sent my nbi clearance and subject access thru snail mail (was complying requirements from old system) but i think diana was told by nmc that you can scan both as one file and be able to upload both as one.

Hi everyone,

For Filipinos settled here in the UK for some years now, what police or nbi clearance did you submit? In my case I went to the embassy for finger printing for nbi clearance then posted it home with authorization letter to be processed by mom. But I have lived in the UK since 2008. Do I have to submit a UK police clearance also or the nbi clearance is sufficient? Any enlightenment will be greatly appreciated. Have a lovely day everyone. God bless.

Hi, I lived in the UK for 3years(2011-2013) but didn't work as a nurse so I didn't submit UK police check although now Im back to the UK. After the initial assessment NMC asked me to submit UK police check :-/ Google 'disclosure scotland' and you can apply the basic disclosure. Just read through the guideline. NMC advised me 'disclosure scotland' for UK police check so I sent then they accepted.

working in uae. Most agencies in the Phil requires me to go home for the interview. I'm wondering if they can just do interview via skype.

I also checked the NHS website for jobs but I don't know how to meet their requirements

Someone i know from UAE also went back to phils for that matter.. You can go on taking cbt, apply and go thru assessment.. I just don't know though how you would process you visa to take osce here coz at the moment, osce is only offered in northampton uni.

hi. you can apply on your own but agencies are a big help in terms of finding an employer. There is no placement fee in Omanfil (as well as in other agencies like ASC and Ipams). I paid for my ielts, which will be reimbursed pre-departure. I also shouldered the NMC application for nursing (£140) and my CBT exam of £130 (im not sure if this will be reimbursed by my employer, i forgot! LOL). The VISA processing(£564) and international health surcharge (£600) are sponsored (the head of Omanfil uses his credit card to pay online) during application but will be reclaimed (salary deduction). Medical exams are around 1875php and the IOM is 3,200php both are shouldered by the applicant.

If you plan to be a UKRN, act soon! There are so many changes in their requirements and they're getting stricter. Good luck!!! :)

I am currently in KSA now, I applied to ASC through online and they've accepted all my documents through email and had my preliminary interview via skype, though the final interview with employer, you should be there in person. They understand the situation of overseas nurses and they're even the one instructing me not to finish my contract until i receive my permit and CoS. So i went back to KSA after my vacation and have my communication with them through online. Just try, they have employer every month

Same question because im working in ksa.. Most agencies in Phil wont book you for employers interview unless you come back to phil
