Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Have you got any updates on your DL?

I have no news about my DL yet.

It's been 52 days since my documents are put on assessment.

I have been on this process since April 2014.

My patience is taking a beating.

I am just hoping that my patience will bear good fruit.

Hiya!

Sadly, I have not heard anything from NMC yet. I am a bit worried that I may have one document short (UK police clearance) and I am so anxious because if that is the case then it'll cause a huge blow on my application and start all over again. But then, my hopes are still high. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel after all. All we can do is to keep praying and praying and praying. God bless :yes:

hi. you can apply on your own but agencies are a big help in terms of finding an employer. There is no placement fee in Omanfil (as well as in other agencies like ASC and Ipams). I paid for my ielts, which will be reimbursed pre-departure. I also shouldered the NMC application for nursing (£140) and my CBT exam of £130 (im not sure if this will be reimbursed by my employer, i forgot! LOL). The VISA processing(£564) and international health surcharge (£600) are sponsored (the head of Omanfil uses his credit card to pay online) during application but will be reclaimed (salary deduction). Medical exams are around 1875php and the IOM is 3,200php both are shouldered by the applicant.

If you plan to be a UKRN, act soon! There are so many changes in their requirements and they're getting stricter. Good luck!!! :)

Big thanks for this information. I bet I need to process my application on NMC and contact OMANFIL very soon. yet Im still thinking if it would be ASC or IPAMS. Do you have any idea how much will be the salary (range) and how much will be their deduction on it? Thank you so much.

Anyone here under OMANFIL and KCH?

I received a text message this morning which reads exactly like this: "Still waiting po ng COS. Your deployment moved on October. Thanks!" I was shocked because i didn't know I was lined up for deployment already. After all, I have just submitted my documents and NMC is yet to confirm if they have actually received my papers.

This was my response, "Noted. However, I don't have my DL yet. I'm still in the assessment phase. Will I still be deployed even though I don't have my DL yet?" They replied YES!

I'm quite confused on how this will work? Is it really possible? Will I work first as a healthcare assistant if this is the case while I'm processing my NMC application? I'm worried because there might be some inconsistencies in the papers I submitted to NMC. I asked OMANFIL if there is any contract coming from KCH and they did not respond. -_-

Four hours is a lot of time just to answer 120 questions. Use it well.

The exam may be easy, but don't inadvertently drop your guard.

When in doubt, remember the 6 Cs.

Thanks lovey! There's still a need to obtain for a UK police clearance because it's one of the original documents for the ID check on the day of my OSCE:yes:
