Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
I uploaded my files in JPEG. I didn't know it was not allowed?
It was stated in the online form itself that the scanned documents have to be in PDF format, was it not? If you haven't submitted it yet, you can still change it. Else, you might wanna contact NMC. Just have your PDF files ready.
where did you get this info? as far as I know as long as it is accessible it is fine. I will phone them later to ask about that. NMC didn't put any info about uploading PDF file specifically on the application portal isn't it?
It was stated in the online application that files to be uploaded are PDFs only. You can also upload JPEG, but they will contact you to change the file form.
Hello guys,Regarding the files, I have spoken to one of their reps and she had informed me that at the moment my files which are in JPEG are acceptable because they still can access it. However, when the assessment process is done, they might require me to send it in PDF. Emailing the files in PDF forms won't be accepted, unless they need it, then they will just email me when they do so.
Hope it helps.
For those who are worried about the JPEG and PDF files, according to the NMC it won't be an issue if you uploaded JPEG files. Their representative said, usually they will ask for PDF files but JPEG is also fine as they can access it.
Thank you so much for the info guys!!! :) I have also emailed NMC about it, but might take a while for them to get back to me. Good to know I wasn't the only one who missed the instruction out. I honestly didn't see any instruction, it was only when I viewed it as Read-Only did I notice the small (?) icon beside the attached files that specified it should be in PDF format. Anyway, will just have to wait for my files to be done with the Assessment I suppose. God bless and good luck to all our applications! *fingers crossed* :)
To those who have sent their nmc forms,is it ok to have the reference forms be shipped together with the training documents and form from my school to the NMC office? It's costly to have all the forms shipped separately.
thank you. :)
I shipped mine together. But each document was enveloped separately and addressed to NMC. It was only my PRC verification document that was shipped separately. :)
Hello there guys! I am just confused by these IELTS UKVI thing. I am planning to work in uk and i already passed the academic ielts exam last april 18 2015, but as of april 6 2015 uk visa and immigration said that proffesionals seeking work in UK must undergo IELTS UKVI exam. I have read an article from ielts ukvi that any result of ielts on or before april 22 2015 will be accepted by UKVI provided that it was taken in one of the approved testing centers of ielts british columbia and all requirements shall be received by UK visa and inmigration. I already emailed UKVI and is awaiting for their reply. Anyone of you guys have the same scenario as mine? I just find it expensive and time consuming if i will be advised to take ielts ukvi, its like i am back were i started from.
Second, one friend of mine said that if i already passed the ielts exam before (april 18 in my case) i just need to have a score of 4 in IELTS UKVI because it will be used for UK visa and immigration. Unlike the IELTS that requires a obs of 7, which will be used as a requirement for the CBT/NMC? Does anyone have any knowledge regarding my concerns? Please help.
Hi guys! Just received this email from NMC
Your application for registration with the NMC has been reviewed. We are pleased to inform you that you can now proceed to the next stage of the application process.
Please login to the portal to download your decision letter. You may also contact the University of Northampton to arrange your Part 2 – Test of competency.
Has anyone received theirs today? I've encountered problems along the way but it goes to show that a lot of patience does pay off. Kudos to us. :-)

Hi guys!
I phoned NMC regarding my application's status and they've told me that it has been put on queue since 24th of June. And it'll take them 10 weeks to assess it. Now, I have to endure the agony of waiting just like most of you's do:no:
