My bad, you're right. I just checked, too and there wasn't anything on the portal. I just thought it required PDF since the file extension in my laptop when selecting which file to upload defaults to ".pdf". Also doesn't help clear things up that every form on there is in PDF.

Well, if somebody can really clarify this, all the better.

I checked the portal and yes it says on the small icon there that it should be on PDF file. I didn't notice that and now I have the same problem as I uploaded the files and some of them are in JPEG and others are in PDF. I have sent them an email and sent the correct file form. Will speak to them later as well about this issue. Good thing I am following this convo.. Thanks a lot guys.

I checked the portal and it showed pdf files only...to be uploaded if you go somewhere the uploded file

where did you get this info? as far as I know as long as it is accessible it is fine. I will phone them later to ask about that. NMC didn't put any info about uploading PDF file specifically on the application portal isn't it?

Would you please let us know their feedback after ringing them? I don't remember any instruction stating that the uploaded documents should be on PDF. Thank you.

Hello guys,

Regarding the files, I have spoken to one of their reps and she had informed me that at the moment my files which are in JPEG are acceptable because they still can access it. However, when the assessment process is done, they might require me to send it in PDF. Emailing the files in PDF forms won't be accepted, unless they need it, then they will just email me when they do so.

For those who are worried about the JPEG and PDF files, according to the NMC it won't be an issue if you uploaded JPEG files. Their representative said, usually they will ask for PDF files but JPEG is also fine as they can access it.

I've sent in my application already, but now that I'm reviewing the online profile as a Read-Only, I just noticed that the attached files have to be in PDF files only. I've attached them as a JPEG file. Is that okay? :/

It was stated in the online application that files to be uploaded are PDFs only. You can also upload JPEG, but they will contact you to change the file form.

thanks for all the tips. the discussion on this thread have really helped me pass my 2nd CBT last week after failing first.

im done with PRC transactions and will head on to deal with the school and employer references.

i do have some concerns because i served as an RN HEALS last 2013 and then worked as a humanitarian nurse during which i was assigned at the hospital for 2 months unemployed for a year and will start training at the Philippine Heart Center next week.

i dont know if my references should be the RN HEALS supervisors i had, the chief nurse of the hospital which i served for merely 2 months or my soon-to-be trainors(i am not employed) at the Philippine Heart Center.

and as for the declaration of good health. i dont know if i should have a doctor from the phil heart center fill it up or have the doctors i knew from way back 2013-2014 fill it up.

any thoughts? :)

thanks for all the help especially those who replied to me when I was really a confused kid and didn't know what to read! this thread was really helpful! some of the topics that were posted here were even repeated in my set.

****the blueprint was a little helpful and no question from Royal Marsden book for me, although I've browsed it. You need a lot of prayers when you take the exam because most of the questions were not even in the blueprint.

I have a question, since I have passed the CBT it seems that my account in NMC is not updated yet. How long is this going to take? I want to pay the fee so I can transition my documents.

I have an offer from CTN under IPAMS but I am yet to take the CBT this July. In what stage are you now? Do you have your CoS or Decision Letter already? I haven't received any email from them about the Medical and POEA. Maybe your deployment will be any time soon.

Did the result just come in? If so, just wait 24-48 hours for your account to be updated.
