Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Once you pass the test and paid the assessment fee, I suggest you complete the online form and all the scanned documents they require (birth certificate, passport, NBI clearance, board certificate, BSN diploma) immediately since their site seems really buggy.
Just some clarification.... are you saying that after you pass your CBT, all those required docs (passport, birth certificate, school transcript, verification of registration, 2 references...) get uploaded online? I thought original copies were meant to be sent in. OR is it just the passport copy, birth certif, BScN degree that can be uploaded, but things from employers and governing bodies need to be originals sent in the mail to NMC? Thanks so much!!

Only those 5 documents I mentioned are required to be scanned and uploaded. The rest need to be submitted to NMC by post. I'll list them here for your reference:
- Transcript of Training
- Registration Authority Verification
- Reference Forms 1 and 2
- Declaration of Good Health
When you've paid for the assessment fee, the download links for these forms will appear on your account. Only then will you be able to process them, but you can start now on acquiring the prerequisite documents for these forms if you want. For example, for your transcript of training, your original college transcript and Related Learning/Clinical Experience form that has hours listed for both theory/classroom and practice will be required.
When did you take and pass the test? Also, did you immediately visit your account after passing? Did it change so you finally have the option to pay before it reverted to the starting point?.
I passed the CBT on June 26. After receiving the congratulations e-mail, i opened my nmc account and found that no applications have been started. I think it normally shows that u have an on-going application then open it. But mine was lost. I have not logged in since i got the ATT. I guess im going to phone NMC about it. Indeed so frustrating.
I got my problem solved just a while ago. The NMC has replied to my e-mail after 3 days. They asked me to click the forgot password link and enter my username then set a new password. I am now ready to pay my assessment fee and move to the next steps.
By the way, to those who are still going to take the exam here are some of the topics I got on my set:
>Safeguarding, abuse (tip: visit the SCIE page on safeguarding and answer the quiz)
>Bruce Tucksman's stages of team formation
>Infection Control : Diarrhoea
>6 C's
>Opiods
>OB: Post-partum bleed, Contraception
>Leadership and Management
Reading the Blueprint actually helped me. But taking the advise of the nurses posting tips and topics for the NMC in this forum is more helpful. I had no chance to read the royal marsden book. Most importantly, PRAY.

Yes, they're only available on your account once you pass and then paid the assessment fee. Just process the prerequisites of those forms if you're really feeling antsy about it. You can read back on this topic for them.
