  1. Hi, you will not be immediately be getting your PIN after paying that 350 euros. That amount that you paid is for NMBI Assessment fee. They will assess your application and if everything will turn out positively then they will ask you to take a period of adaptation or take the aptitude test. If you pass either one of those thats the only time that you will be getting your PIN.
  2. Hi all! I would suggest to look for a better agency that would not be asking you for any fees. I was with Wise and I personally wouldnt recommend them to aspiring NMBI nurses. It would be much better to get hold of an agency that is from Ireland as they will not be asking you for any fee. Regarding the NMBI application pack. I will send it to those who asked for it later. About the UKVI Academic exam, its up to you to take the risk. I have both the UKVI Academic and the regular academic exam at hand. That is because it is clearly stated that no other form of the IELTS exam will be accepted other than the ACADEMIC IELTS. Cheers!
  3. Hi @Sheena03! They told you that? Then I will have to probably get back to them about that because we totally have a different agreement. Mine, goes like this: i will have to pay them £700. The first half i had to pay immediately and the second half will be after I have a decision letter. There was no mention of getting a refund at any circumstance. If you wouldn't mind me asking, to whom did you talk to about this? Was it Wisesearch in the Philippines or the one in the UK?
  4. Thank you for doing this ms. mj_pink!
  5. Congrats to your husband ms. mj_pink!!! Congratulations in advance to you. You'll be getting it soon. Would you mind posting a timeline about how long the whole process took? This information will be very helpful as well as motivating for those who are waiting for their DLs. Thanks and god bless. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!!! *cheers*
  6. Im with Wisesearch UK.
  7. They do! I got delayed because of my Birth Certificate coming from the Philippines so I was only able to post my Section 1 and Form B (from current employer) last week but NMBI will be getting those this week. If ever mine will take more than six months then that's definitely my bad. To give every aspiring NMBI applicants, I got an email from my agency yesterday about an applicant from the Philippines that will be landing in Dublin this month. My agency and the applicant took less than six months to complete the whole process. Including getting a Job Offer from an employer to visa processing.
  8. Hi @flipnidus! I just raised your concern with my respective agency and I was told that 1 year is way too much and it depends on the applicant seeking registration with NMBI and where he/she is located. For example: - it will take longer for applicants who are further away from Ireland as posting the documents and all will take much longer as compared to those applicants near the proximity of Ireland. - it also depends on the applicant if he/she will move hastily in processing the forms from NMBI as well as the needed attachments. I suggest that you go with an agency that is experienced in the field of registering and deploying nurses to Ireland (like what I did in my case). The agency that I am with was able to process a candidate way less than six months. The processing time is much less and more importantly it is more inexpensive as compared to the bridging program that you will have to undergo when applying for registration in New Zealand.
  9. Not yet, I still have my Section 1 with me. I'll probably send it next week.
  10. Hi! I sent you a copy of the full application pack, As what i've been told it usually arrives two weeks after they receive the application request form though I received mine within 1 to 2 weeks. Form B should be filled out by the physician whom you're reporting to and then there is a field on the second page of that form where your physician will explain why you are reporting to him/her instead of those who are specified by NMBI.
  11. Hi @Dmrio! I have sent you a copy of the full application pack. As to the status of my application, I already my full application pack and have filled out those fields that are intended for me to fill. Hopefully i will send my section 1 by first week of November.
  12. Hi! Yes, i'm with Wisesearch UK and their partner agency in Ireland is Adaptive HVM. Same with jay and gema.
  13. Its really up to you whether you would want to process it on your own or through an agency. NMBI have a disclaimer anyway that says that processing time is just the same whether you're a direct applicant or going through an agency. Its just that when you're with an agency, you can ask them for things that can be quite confusing. For your 2nd question, its stated on the form that it should be posted to: Registration Department, NMBI..... then the address.
  14. Yes, that's right. I did the same with mine.
  15. Just to be on the safe side here, its stated on that form that it should be completed by the following: Director of Nursing/Midwifery, Matron, Nurse/Midwife Manager. If you're not reporting to anyone of those you can explain it. There's a field in there for that. Again, im just trying to play safe here. You can also check with your agency they might have a better suggestion.
