Can anyone tell me what the starting salary for new RN's at RMC is? I just got hired through the loan forgiveness. IS it a good place to work? Do they have a lot of new nurses in a good teachign environment?

St. Barnabas in Livingston, NJ: Base pay is $32.11/hour + $3.00 night shift differential. Not sure about weekend differential. This is for a new graduate nurse with a BSN.

Nursing salaries are dropping in NJ- many years experience- just got hired for $31.25 will be paying 25% of my own benefits. My first time full time permenant position in 4 years!! and it wasn't for lack of looking and applying and getting interviewed. Very poor nursing job otlook here in jersey.

i can't believe i'm making more $ in LTC as a new grad than i would at st barnabas. my plan has always been to apply to st. barn when i get a little exp under my belt, i'm just really surprised i'll be taking a pay cut to do it!
which part of jersey is this? i'm so surprised to see the low salaries posted here.
How much are you making hourly at your LTC facility? What facility are you working at?

just got hired at bayshore. new graduate $26.00 base pay. extra $1.50 for BSN. $5.00 night differential. not sure if there's a weekend differential. extra $0.50 for masters. extra $2.00 for national certification for your specialty. extra $1.00 each time you climb the nursing ladder.

Wow that's good to know. I am an LPN and I make $25/h in home health pediatric. I am in school for RN BSN and was curious about how much more I'd make working in a hospital.
Does anyone know anything about Southern Ocean County Hospital?? Thanks.:)
I worked there with an agency as a aide years ago and I loved it there
I do home IV infusion for a high tech pharmacy and make way good money. 61K for 25-40 hours a week. I'm full time but I never work a full 40. and that includes drive time.
How do you get a job like that? Sounds good!
