Hello all! I’ve applied to Nipissing's Scholar Practitioner Program for Fall 2021. I’m super excited/anxious about it and would love to connect with other students who have applied.

Hey - sorry that you got waitlisted for the program ? It's a long waiting game but a lot of people chance their minds so I'm sure you still have a shot!

I am planning on applying to the SPP program for next year, I was wondering if you could share you application stats? I will be applying with a 3.7 but I'm not sure if its enough!

I have a 3.7 in my Bio undergrad, so definitely feel it’s enough. I think my CASPer results could’ve been better, from what I hear, it’s weighed very heavily. I wish they would provide the score for that. It’s hard to assess where you can improve without all the details. 
 

I would really try to prepare as best as possible for the CASPer test. Best of luck!

Hey everyone, I just finished my AP finals and I'm so happy that I passed and it's done however, I probably have a low grade of C. I already have a conditional offer from Nipissing. I checked the website and it says - Successful completion of prereqs. Just checking if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks!

Hi all! 

I just cancelled my offer to York's Second Entry Nursing Program and accepted my offer to Nipissing's SPP! Still waiting on an offer to UofT, but in case that doesn't come through, I am excited to begin this new journey with all those who have accepted their offers to Nipissing.

I'm wondering if it's too early to start a FB group for the SPP students starting in Fall 2021? Or, if there is one that already exists -- I would greatly appreciate if someone can send the link my way.

Thank you NurseJosieD! I requested to join - I just accepted my offer yesterday even though I am still waiting for UofT. Either way, I think I am staying with Nipissing so see you in the Fall! Excited to chat with you all on facebook!

If you're still waiting, stay hopeful! The offers expire on Friday so slots should open up next week! ?

I’m still waiting in angst. Would love to hear if anyone has gotten off the waitlist yet as well.
