Nipissing SPP 2021 Applicants

Hello all! I’ve applied to Nipissing's Scholar Practitioner Program for Fall 2021. I’m super excited/anxious about it and would love to connect with other students who have applied. 

How’s everything been going through your application process?

I just read that last year people on waitlist had to fill up a form and email back to confirm that they accepted the waitlist position. Was there anything of sort this year? I just want to be sure I didn’t miss something.

I’m not sure as this is the first I’m hearing about filling out a form to accept a waitlist position. I haven’t received any indication that I had to sign a form so perhaps this year is different?

Oh great. I guess this year is different then. I was surprised too when I read it on the 2020 SPP forum last night. I was so scared that I may have missed something.

For those who have accepted offers: Is Nipissing a full disclosure program? I decided to take another credit of psychology for prerequisites and haven't completed it, but I already completed the necessary credit in undergrad. I want to drop it now but I can't. If I don't complete this credit by the deadline, will that be a problem even if they're not counting that specific course in my application?

Has anyone been able to reach Nipissing admission lately as regards the waitlist? It’s been almost 2 weeks offers expired and it seems no one got off waitlist (except some people got off and didn’t share the info here) . Does it mean the program is full?

I reached out to them twice already. It’s been almost a month and no response about my question. I’m guessing they are very backlogged. I haven’t seen anyone post about getting off the Nipissing waitlist.
 

I had a friend that took the program a couple years ago tell me she had a classmate that had gotten off the Nipissing waitlist as late as August.
 

We know some deadlines to meet acceptance criteria are happening at the end of June. So anyone that had accepted a conditional offer and not met the acceptance criteria should open a spot for us, as their acceptance would be revoked. Also, there still may be people out there that change their minds done the line and choose not to go to Nipissing. Only thing we can do at this point is wait it out ?

Congratulations! If you don’t mind please what’s your GPA for the best 10 full courses.

My GPA for the best 10 was I think a 3.9? My school uses CGPA so I used an online converter. But Nipissing made an error on my application so I was initially rejected then offered first on the waitlist. So I’m assuming offers just started being sent

Hey I also got an offer. When I responded to the email I got an out of office reply saying out of office until June 28 but the deadline to accept is June 23. I followed up with admissions but did you get that too?
