  1. Hi all!! ? I was recently accepted to Queens, Nippising SPP, and Humber! I'm really leaning toward SPP because it is in DT Toronto, has 1-1 preceptorships and has great affiliations with UHN and SickKids. Is anyone else planning on going to Nippising? I read a lot that schools need a deposit. I haven't heard of that for Nippising it also wasn't in my offer letter. Does anyone know if we need to pay a deposit and if so what the deadline is? Thanks!
  2. Hey! I actually commuted for a bit both by public transit and then by driving. If you drive it is doable, especially if you take the highway on off-hours. (I.e leave early to get to class and stay at a library later on). I think using public transit would be very difficult unless you are really good at studying on the bus (I have tried and it is difficult to read, especially with all the bumps and distractions - even with noise-cancelling headphones). Hope this helps a little!
  3. Hey Everyone! I applied to U of T, SPP, Humber, and Queens. So excited!! When are you planning on writing casper?
  4. Hey! I am still just on waitlist, haven't gotten a pending. I have seen that some people that had their status changed to pending have gotten an offer! So I hope that's the case for you ? Do you mind sharing the GPA you applied with?
  5. Hey, I emailed U of T in Jan asking how to send my Athabasca transcript, as Athabasca only emails transcripts and doesn't send out hard copies. They replied saying to upload it to joinID. I emailed myself the official transcript and uploaded it to joinID for both interim and final grades. I did this by logging into My AU, scrolling down the the orange heading of Student Record, and selecting the category of manage student record - request transcript, adding my name and email as the person who would receive it. I have no gotten any feedback on my application yet, just says "Application Received." I hope this helps.
  6. Hey, I was wondering if you got waitlisted for humber or if your file says no decision?
  7. I manage an occupational health clinic, we hire nurses and do not require references for the job.
  8. Hey! When does your offer expire? Just wanted to get a feel for next round for waitlist
  9. Ahh OK! Thanks for the response. Hopefully I'll be seeing you in September LOL fingers crossed
  10. Congrats! That's awesome! Have you accepted it / planning on going? When I applied my GPA was lower but my prereqs have increased it substantially, so I'm hoping that will help with my waitlist spot. What was your GPA (the queens calculation)? I think I have a shot because of my ECs and my statement but I'm worried I might have to reapply for next cycle.
  11. Hey! Has anyone here gotten off of Queens waitlist?
  12. Hey - sorry that you got waitlisted for the program ? It's a long waiting game but a lot of people chance their minds so I'm sure you still have a shot! I am planning on applying to the SPP program for next year, I was wondering if you could share you application stats? I will be applying with a 3.7 but I'm not sure if its enough!
  13. Congrats!! OMG I'm dyyinnnngggg to get off the Queens waitlist!
  14. Hey, did anyone watch the Humber-UNB 2nd entry information session? They stated that their program has been waitlisted - my application still says pending decision. Just wondering if anyone knows if it means I am waitlisted or not? I'll email admissions but wanted to check here first!
