Hello!
I'm really excited to start my ABSN program in Nightingale College this fall. I have an AS degree in another allied health field but have always felt like nursing was calling to me....and so here I go! Anyone else starting this fall 2020 or has anyone graduated from Nightingale's ABSN program and wouldn't mind sharing some of their experience? I've done a number of searches but can't seem to find a whole lot of anything on them....

Yes, that is really bad. Stats don't lie. A lot of community colleges do better than that. Yikes!
Oh those stats are scary but I did do fairly well on my exit exam when I completed my VN program and passed NCLEX with minimal studying. Not that I wouldn't put in all my effort. I still need to complete Micro and I want to do O chem for APU app. I just don't want to limit my options as I am not as young as most. I appreciate the responses, thank you.

You do what is best for you and your family. Like I stated previously, my friend passed the placement and NCLEX-RN the first time. It is doable, for sure.
Hi everyone! I’m starting the BSN program with nightingale and was wondering how others are doing in the program so far? Do you like it? I’m also wondering how hoard it is... I’m and LVN With a ton of other classes so my program Is only 16months. But each semesters I’m taking 4-5 classes... is it hard to juggle all the classes? Any info anyone can share would be appreciated!
Hi all,
I am in Utah/Idaho area and looking to attend in Brigham City, Utah for the BSN program. Long story made short, 2020 sucked for me as it did for many others I was going through an Accelerated BSN program in Texas and I had to drop because of extenuating circumstances. I'm happy to see that all of my general education classes will transfer to Nightingale and I am waiting to hear back from the advisor if any of nursing courses will transfer as well.
Can anyone tell me how many days of week you typically have to be on campus? Are the majority of courses online? What has your experience been thus far and do you feel amply taken care of as a student in regards to your educational needs?
thanks!!
Hi!
This is my first semester and I'm taking 3 classes anatomy, physiology and Microbiology and I work full-time. It's doable you just have to have good time management which I'm still working on LOL. You can test in California but in order to be licensed in CA you have to take Chemistry which Nightingale doesn't offer.
