New Mexico Licensure Question

U.S.A. New Mexico

Published

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

tnx for the info... yupz i have researched a lot and its just only vermont... hmmm i guess i have just to take some risks... tnx tnx tnx

Yes, there is no one State BON that is perfect. Each one has their own pros and cons.

actually i dont have a fast internet line lately so i didnt have the chance to back read. i takes me couple of seconds before i can open a page.

Nope, only CES as a requirement has been added. You can use CES even if you don't have PNLE.

Of course, that is under the assumption that you have NEVER taken PNLE at all(this answer is to play it safe, if you really want confirmation, you should contact NM BON). Just like CGFNS, when you attempt to take the NCLEX-RN and failed, you can never get an Interim permit wherever. You really have to pass it once attempted.

Fast internet is quite expensive here in the RP. I think internet slowdown is imminent according to a news report, if "things" aren't upgraded(not your own but the ISPs).

hello guys! for the NM applicants who submited their papers already, which CES did you use and what were the papers you submitted? are they all asking the same requirements?

thanks in advance

Would suggest the full course CES as it can be used if looking at further training once in the US as it gives a breakdown on your training

Sorry for my late reply, haven't logged in for a while. I already responded to your PM question.

Here is an example of a site that answers that question(the one you qouted me for), please read it there:

hello moderators its me again! this thread is slowly moving after the new NM procedure. CES is more costly and i think it will take more time to wait for the elegibility.

i really decided to apply for the NM since i have an aunti who live in that state and is willing to adopt me for the mean time in case i work there. (maybe a couple more years from now) hehe

i have a question regarding the CES agancies of NM. im still choosing between CGFNS and Josef Silny. will it make any defference applying to a more costly agancy since CGFNS price is $378 while the latter is only $125 based on their site. (post seconday course by course evaluation)

is that the same as CGFNS's "full evaluation"

------------------------------------------

please anyone, what are the requirements that i have to submit to those agencies? is it the same with the requirements that the NM is requiring?

thanks!!!

Things to be aware of. If using CGFNS and decide to do further education then CES full course is a preference and if already received then easy. If you have gone a different eval route and you want to do continual education then CES full course is a requirement which may delay and also cost more money. The end decision is yours but I know who I would go with and did

5. The completed "Request for Validation of

Registration/License" form from initial licensing agency

where you have held a registration/license/certification

as a professional in your field; or, in cases where your

diploma authorizes legal practice, this same form mailed to

CGFNS from the institution that issued your diploma.

Note: Some licensing/registration authorities may charge a

fee for verifying your license(s)/registration(s). You are

responsible for any outside additional fees associated with

processing your Credentials Evaluation Service application.

hi guys can anyone please elaborate the underlined words?
