New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

Each time that you send something to verify something, it is going to delay everyone. They have not added on extra people to send out verifications, expect it to take three to four months before you will hear anything.

And this goes for any state, you need to be patient. If everyone wants a response to their e-mail checking on status, the wait will go to six months plus. As their response stated, they get tons of e-mails and you need to be patient, unless there is something specific that is being asked, please wait when you are just checking on the routine status of your application.

hi there.. me too.. im still waiting for the status of my application.. i have mailed my documents last week of july, same with my school documents..

oh my!!! i have been waiting for how many months..

hi guyz,, my friend decided to register and she did even thou she havent received her eligibility yet.. and now, she received her att and she already scheduled her exam...

She was lucky as most BON's state for foreign nurses to wait until they receive eligibility due to pearsonvue having as 12 month account and if there was any delays you would have to reapply and pay more money to pearsonvue. In fact we also recommend you wait for the OK before registering with pearsonvue

I have a question, I'm planning to schedule my NCLEX exam by phone but we don't have any credit card, I'm from the Philippines so Pearson's gonna take another 150$. If I'm gonna borrow a credit card from my friend, Is'nt it that they should be the one to call Pearson to set the sched? Because they keep on telling me that they won't give their credit card info unless they'd accompany me. Can anyone please tell me how's the payment process? I don't have an idea. Thanks!

Pearson says that I have to call them to set my exam.

You have to be the one to schedule your exam, but your friend can be the one to give them the credit card information.

They are two separate things.

just heard from d agency that new mexico is doing some backlog of application from last yr..it says it might be another month or so..so, well have to be patient...good luck to all of us...

my school documents were sent last aug and my application form, fingerprint etc were sent last sept. then they returned my bankdraft bec they increased their fees, so i resent my bankdraft last october 30. gosh... its a mind boggling wait. being patient becomes challenging since i cant help but be anxious about my application... gosh... we share the same boat... please continue posting updates on this thread bec its very helpful... :-)
