New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

My RN License is about to expire in Dec,2008.

Can any one guide me how to renew it ????Hows CE done?is it an exam or a course????Can anyone provide a link to it!!!1

Many CE's can be done online and if you do a site search many threads will come up and many are done online and free or small fee. Check out the general nursing forum as that is asked a lot

hi!i took my nclex last dec 27, 2days after i took it, i saw my name on their website with my license number, etc.. i didn't even have to go thru quick results! that sure was very quick! is this for real? coz i havent received my formal letter yet.. how long will it take for them to mail it? are they that fast in posting your name on their website once u've passed the exam?

Congrats, Yes some states will show your name on their website it is usually when SSN is required that you do not see name . Mail could be anything between 2-6 weeks

Welcome to the site

You are not applying for NCLEX RN but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is just part of that process.

With retrogression you have plenty of time to look to which state you want to live and apply to that state BON (Board of Nursing) Saying that we do not recommend California for initial licensure and much has already been written on that subject.

Suggested starting place for reading Primer for working in the US and also threads on Retrogression and visa bulletins. Current processing time is 2001-2002 depending on which country you was born in. But will also suggest a good read in general in this forum as much has been written and once you have decided on a state would suggest suing the search facility in the forum and check out any threads for that state

NM has Updated their requirements for licensure exam.

just wanna ask if these new requirements are only for new applicants?

btw.. does anyone of previous applicants received their eligibility.. I just wanna know if in which month the board is working on.

NM changes where being discussed here and usually affects new applicants from that date, saying that BON will make their own judgment but if you filed a couple of months ago I doubt you would be affected https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/nmbon-website-new-memo-all-international-nurses-278914.html

hi..just want to share my friend who mailed all her documents last june,, registered already @ pearson this january, and after six days, she already received her att.. up to now, NM BON didnt forward to her cert. of eligibility.. but it didnt matter now, since she already scheduled her exam..;)

you mean to say, she didn't wait for her eligibility? Have you done the same thing?
