Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!
here's an interesting info on failure to renew license for 8 years (note: this is for california): (source: the ca brn licensing faq webpage:
http://www.rn.ca.gov/lic/lic-faqs.htm#2 )
www.rn.ca.gov/lic/pdf/8yr_retakeapp.pdf.
if eight years has passed following the expiration date of a license and you have been working in another state; you do not have to re-take the nclex-rn. for information on how to renew your
license, please visit the board's web site at www.rn.ca.gov/ren/reinstate8year.htm. "
Hi guys! I'm new here and I hope you can help me with my NM application. I have to first ask my school to send my TOR and RLE to the BON of NM, right? Do I have to send the Payment form for the evaluation of TOR, $50, at about the same time as the school sends it (via separate couriers)? Will the BON evaluate the TOR even without receiving the $50 payment? I was told I have to wait for the BON to evaluate my credentials and to give their go signal, before I could proceed with sending them my application forms and fingerprint cards. Thank you.

But the most important thing is how low were the salaries that were being offered to start? Forget about two years down the line, what are you going to be living on in the first twp years? How much is going to the agency that put on the seminar?
A very important thing to take into consideration, salaries do not go up significantly after two years, actually just a small percentage per year. So if that is looking like a significant increase, then where is the money going that you should be getting?

when you receive eligibility confirmation or the instruction from NM BON to register in pearson vue for the ATT, you can inquire directly from NM BON the validity period of the eligibility to register in pearson and also the validity of the ATT once you register. wait for the reply.
according to others who previously applied, eligibility from NM BON is good for one year and ATT is valid for 90 days once you register. you can obtain information directly from NM BON after you receive instruction to register.
regarding the time of sending the application form/fees/fingerprint cards, you can opt to wait a couple of weeks (10 to 15 working days) from the time your TOR was received by the BON and send a request for information on the status of the evaluation of your TOR and for instruction to send your application. wait for a reply/instruction.
goodluck!
