New Mexico Licensure Question

U.S.A. New Mexico

Published

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

this link leads to the NM BON forms. the application form in pdf has 3 pages of instruction and 2 pages of the actual fillable blank form. remember to send a request for the fingerprint cards packet.

goodluck to all! :penguin:

Everything needs to be in to the BON before they will give you permission to sit for the NCLEX exam. You do not apply to take the NCLREX, you only register for the service with Pearson-Vue. They only provide a service, they do not give any approval, and only send out the ATT acting as a middleman for the BON.

The exam is the final step in the licensing process, you must meet all requirements other than taking the exam, before you can take it.

send it together with the application forms and other fees. but be sure that it's a separate check.

ms. suzanne is right, don't register to pearson until you're given a go signal by the board.

goodluck!!

I emailed NM BON for the fingerprint cards and no reply yet :( its almost a week now.

They usually reply after a week or two. Give them a break :) Their job description involves other things aside from reading and replying to inquires done through e-mail. Remember, too, that patience is a virtue.

Hi,

I submitted my fingerprinting last april after submitting my TOR and evalutation, last week, i got an email from NM BON that my credentials are incomplete and that they need my RLE. They also said that they havent received my fingerprints and payment.

How do i tell them that I have emailed it already? Sigh.

did you include your fingerprint card together with the application form? and the authorization forms? did they say if your application form was received? and also did you send your documents via reputable courier or through snail mail? sometimes the problems lies with the courier especially if you send it via snail mail.

I sent the application thats why they sent me the fingerprint cards. Followed by the authorization forms, they received my application but its incomplete, im sending them my RLE. I mailed the fingerprints through registered postal, paid P788, i should have sent it via fedex. :sniff:
