New Mexico Licensure Question

Same thing here!!!That was the main reason why I had my exam scheduled on February....since I lost the momentum in studying for it. (it took NM so long and I didn't know my status until my eligibility came) Figured out i need 2 months more to keep me more prepared!Besides, slots for December and Mid january in Phil testing center are almost filled out!!I wanted a morning schedule at 9 am so I took first week of Feb!

haha we're on the same boat. Sometimes I feel lazy studying because of too much waiting...zzzzz, better sleep first... ;-)

Hi gracediwa! I just read your post regarding your processing of NCLEX in New Mexico.. It helps me a lot on which state should I take my NCLEX. I just want to ask if where should the CGFNS certificate be notarized?Since it stated in the instruction for NM application to send them a copy of CGFNS certificate and should be notarized.

hi guys....just want to share my application process timeline.
June 24- NM received all my requirements
Nov 16 - received E mail from Ms Vidaurri saying I can register to Pearson. That day I registered to Pearson online.
Nov 27- I received my ATT.
I'll be taking my exam on first week of February!!!Finally!!!Well, Im really nervous!Hope I'll make it!Please pray for me!!

After the long wait, you now know when "D'day" is... I sent my application last aug/sept then they returned my fingerprint cards and i resent it end of oct... gosh, i'm really wondering when i'll get my eligibility, oh well.... i'll start studying on january 1... hopefully, i'll know my status in 2 or 3 months...

Hello! I've decided to switch to NM for my initial licensure instead of California. I have this one question:

Where can I have the AUTHORIZATION FOR RELEASE OF INFORMATION form notarized?

Can I have it done in the City Hall or inside PRC? I've read from the 1st few pages of this thread (Yep, I've read all 81 pages) that it may be done in local notary. However, a later post said that it has to be done in US embassy.

So where can I have it notarized? I hope people who have been made eligible already can share some info.

Many people reports that there has been no problems from local notaries as long as it came from reputable places such as from City Halls, inside PRC or any well known Gov't locations w/c can be verified later on if something happens or the form questioned. If you want to be sure, having it done inside the US embassy is the surest thing.

The 12 month deadline starts from your application date when you paid so if only just applied you are ok for a few more months. pearsonvue will send it as soon as they hear from BON. You could always contact BON and check they have sent it
