No the BON will inform you of eligibility and then register with pearsonvue. Will take 4-6 months approx before you receive it

Thanks Silverdragon!

So I do still have at least additional two months to prepare..

It is a rough guidelines as a lot depends on receiving documentation. Have you had CES from CGFNS done or other recognised evaluation?

what happened!!!? i just checked the page before i pasted it here. you're right, there's only one page left! where's the four pages? pm me your email add then i'll email you the form. i still have it i saved.

maybe the certificate of graduation eligibility is waived for non -us graduates.

graduates from state-approved programs

1. certificate of eligibility for graduation or final transcript with degree

awarded or to be awarded, indicating date of graduation and certificate or degree awarded, or to

be awarded must be received directly from the registrar's office prior to permission to take

nclex (national counsel licensure examination).

while for

non-us graduates

non-u.s. educated registered nurse and practical nurse applicants for licensure by examination in new

mexico must request an evaluation of their nursing education credentials to determine if they meet

requirements of the new mexico board. this evaluation will be conducted upon receipt of (1) an official

transcript sent directly to the board from the nursing program they graduated from (2) or if the transcript is

not in english, a copy of a translated transcript certified by a qualified translator sent directly to the board

of nursing.

hi grace, is this the only requirement that i have to submit to the nm bon? thanks

Hello chellie1574,RS.........i know how difficult it is to wait without knowing your status...i guess there are lots of applications in process thats why its taking NM sooooo long. nyway, just focus on reviewing...you'll receive your eligibility soon. I'll hope and pray we'll make it!!!

I just checked the NM BON's website. IS the application status verification now available b'coz they had removed their recent announcement stating that it is not yet available?

I'm purely relying on the NM BON evaluation merely because it's much cheaper than having it evluated by CGFNS through the CES.
