New Mexico Licensure Question

Published

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

Hi bebe13! Congratulations for passing the NCLEX! Thanks a lot for your encouragement and for the information you provided. I appreciate it a lot. It really made me feel better.

Can you share with me suzanne's study guide? :)

The DOLE is disregarding ANA's statement about retaking the whole exam. They are preparing for the CGFNS' suggestion of retaking only tests 3&5... Are you going to retake the whole exam still?

hi starbee. did u also apply for NM?

thanks.

actually, suzanne's study plan can't be shared among reviewees. you must directly contact her if you want a copy. anyway, she is always ready to help. you will find a sticky about that plan in the nclex discussion forum.

yes, i will take the entire exam. i don't anymore want to gamble and remain in the shadow of june 2006 nle. i'll surrender my current prc license and i know god will see me through. i already regretted not taking the exam last december and i don't want to commit the same mistake.

all for the glory of christ jesus!

hello!!!!

i just want to ask if nurses can practice in the US without ANA membership? or is it a requirement to join the organization?

thanx a lot!

God bless us all!

Joining the ANA is optional.

Hi masey, dis is ladyrn I also mail may application to NM last feb 26 and I did several follow up to ms. sabrina and still she didn't reply to any of my queries, perhaps there's a bulk of applicants for NM, I'l just pray that we'll both got our eligibility as soon as possible..."God will make a way for us"!

You must complete the first tip that is posted at the top of the NCLEX forum and then contact me. It only comes from me, and cannot be found anywhere else for the 6 week program. The review that is posted must be completed first.

You are not going to get approval in a couple of weeks, it does not work that way. You can expect a few months at least. The only time that it is even a bit faster is if you have a CES and then NM does not have to do their own evaluation of your schooling.

At this point, it does not matter what anyone wants other than what the employer wants to see, and that is a retest of the entire exam. Any employers that I have spoken with, as well as HR people from hospitals around the US will not even consider a nurse if they do not retake the entire exam. And they have said this since last August. Suggestion is to take the entire exam if you want a good employer.

But this thread is about licensure in NM, there is already a thread on the Philippine Forum concerning the NLE from last summer. Please use that thread since it is specific to those from the Philippines and this thread is for nurses from around the world. And that way information does not need to get repeated in multiple places.

Thanks for your understanding..............Suzanne

The maximum time an ATT is issued (assuming that you have a complete file) is three months. It's best to request signature confirmation or something like that to be able to find out if your documents were received. Wait for the e-mail (assuming you gave out your e-mail address in the application form) from the BON before you register with Pearson Vue. Good luck to all test-takers!

Hi Caring nurse! I email ms. sabrina just asking for a confirmation if they already got my TOR and RLE which my school have forwarded them, just to make sure that my documents are complete for their evaluation process..but she hadn't reply any of my queries.
