New LPN students??

hey all!! i just got my lpn acceptance letter a few weeks ago and i start in september!! i'm so excited , but a little nervous . anyone else out there starting an lpn program soon??

I just got accepted into an LPN program here in Central New York! 11mo, starts September 29! I am so excited, and pretty sure i'm going to do it. I'm a bit nervous though, but I am hoping to use nervousness for energy to keep me going! :dancgrp:

What pre-reqs are required for these 12-13 month programs? Mine is about 9 months and we had to have alot of classes.

Hi everyone! I start an 11-month program on May 5 and I'm super excited! My name is Melissa, but everyone calls me Teenie (my sister is rather larger than I am, and taught her children to call me 'Aunt Teenie-Tiny' when they were very young...it stuck!). I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy LPN school, especially the no-free-time-whatsoever part, but I know it will be worth it. I will probably be posting here quite a bit, so I look forward to getting to know everybody!

hello all! i have loved reading everyone elses posts!! i was accepted to a private 16mo lvn program on tuesday and am exstatic!! i thought i'd be on wait lists for the next 2-3 years for rn programs and am so happy to have this opportunity. i start june 16th and cannot wait!!! i love this site, it has been extremely helpful in decision making. congrats to all my fellow new students!!
