New LPN students??

hey all!! i just got my lpn acceptance letter a few weeks ago and i start in september!! i'm so excited :lol2: , but a little nervous :uhoh3: . anyone else out there starting an lpn program soon??

hi all! i am starting my lpn program this summer!! i am only taking two classes summer quarter and plan to do some serious poolside studying:coollook:

my lpn classes start autumn quarter and its a 16 month program! i am soooooo psyched! i have worked really hard for this off and on for many years, and now i have finally been blessed with the opportunity to leave my full time job (which i am miserable at - in an unrelated field) and make my dream of being a nurse a reality!

can't wait to hear updats from everyone thru the posts and forums and i wish all of us luck, determination, and success!!!!!!

hi everyone. i start my lpn program in august and it is 9 months!!! i can't wait. i'm so excited. i live in illinois and will be going to capital area school of practical nursing. anyone else going there or has graduated from there?

Good luck. It is tough work but you will get through it. Just study during any down time, write out note cards and think positive.

im doing what you are doing. my LPN program starts this fall, but my advisor told me to go ahead and knock out medical terminology and allied health math this summer. :typing

just a note......i am also working full time and going to school full time. we have a choice of evening or morning classes:yeah:. ive noticed that most of the students that are going to my school are also part time or full time students.

New to the board and new to school! We are currently taking our core classes (A&P, Nutrition, Human Growth and Development, Medical Term, and computers) Nursing classes and clinicals start in August I am so excited!!!:yeah:

Pretty new to board and 3 weeks into school .... so far, so good - I find great amusement in being the oldest student in class, being one of only a few males, and doing better than a lot of these here whippersnappers ;)

Seriously, though, I love it and am welcoming the career change at this point.:smokin:
