New job seems sketchy

So, I could use some advice. I've been looking for a job for a few months and finally found one that works for me, and I think I would like. I was supposed to meet with the director of nursing, but couldn't meet them because they had a meeting. During my interview, the person interviewing me asked me why I didn't want to work full time. When I explained I was a bible teacher, their reaction made me slightly uncomfortable. However, they decided to move forward with the hiring process. I have all my paperwork, and the DON called me and said he would text me the info for where to report on my first day. This was 2 days ago and i haven't gotten a text yet. Also, he had a strange reaction when I told him the availability I was hired with. I reached out via text, as he asked me to. But it's been 24 hours with no response. What should I do?

Should I tell them about me starting the other job? What if they ask when I'm available?

One time a new employer supervisor told me to tell my other employer when I am available and not available. She said you do not have to tell them WHY you are available or not available.

I meant available to start work. The schedules of both jobs are conflicting with each other, so I'd have to pick one. Job A I start on Tuesday, and job B I interview with on Monday. The have equivalent pros & cons, so I just don't know. I'm trying to think of which area would allow me to gain more experience: inpatient or clinic?

She asked why I didn't want to work FT, I said I had another job, which prevented me from working FT at this one. She asked what it was and I told her that I was a bible teacher. What else was I supposed to say?

"I've got a part-time educational gig that I really enjoy so I'm planning to keep doing that for awhile."

Id take the interview. Even if the 1st place is hiring you, maybe you might end up liking this other place more.

I recently was accepted for a position at one facility, but my background check took over a week to be returned. During this time, I interviewed at another facility. This second interview showed my that the first one was the right one to go with. So, when the background check came back, I started orientation and work at the first place.

What I am saying, is that the second interview can give you some insight as to which way to go.
